Vincenzo POV
I was talking to my father a few days ago, and he told me about the gold that's in South Korea.

He gave me all the papers full of information and told me to do whatever I want with it.

I never thought about going back to Korea, but I had some reasons that pushed me to do so.

I sighed and said, "Well, anything for the money" You could hear a tint of excitement in my voice.

After a few minutes of talking with Cho Yeong-un, the person I asked to arrange everything for me in Korea, I called Victoria.

On the phone~

"Hello Vic, where are you?" I asked. "The plane just landed. I'll be finished in about half an hour. Who's picking me up?" she replied with another question.

"I'm on my way, wait for me," I said. "Okay," she sounded happy.

I put my phone down, hopped into my car, turned it on, and drove off.

I've missed her so much... can't wait to see her...

Victoria POV

I've missed him very much... can't wait until we meet...

Walking out of the airport, the air struck my throat. It was chilly.

"Victoria!" A tall man in a black suit approached me, smiling softly. I immediately knew it was Vin.

"Vin! My bro! How are you?" I exclaimed, a wide smile never leaving my face.

We hugged tightly. "I've missed you," I said, trying to hold back tears.

As we broke the hug, we started walking. "Let's talk in the car," he suggested. I nodded, about to grab my bags when he interrupted me.

"Let go, I'll take care of that. You must be tired," he said kindly. I couldn't help but smile and send a small thanks his way.

After we hopped into the car, he turned to me with a big grin on his face. "I'm so stoked you made it here safe and sound! Feels like pure gold to have you back," he said, his voice filled with genuine warmth.

"Can you believe it's been 5 long years? I've missed you like crazy," I said, beaming right back at him.

After a solid 30-minute chat, we finally pulled up to our destination.

Our conversation revolved around how much we've missed each other and how things have been going in our lives and careers. It was such a heartwarming and delightful exchange.

As he got out of the car, he beat me to opening my door, just like the good old days.

I stepped outside, gazing at the funeral home on that chilly day, regretting not wearing a jacket. Vincenzo noticed my distress and asked, "What's wrong?" I shrugged and muttered, "It's a bit cold."

Without hesitation, he took off his jacket and handed it to me. "Thanks, bro," I said, relieved by the warmth. "Just don't catch a cold," he sighed, extending his arm for me to hold onto.

And of course, I did. We walked inside, my nerves getting the best of me. It had been a while since I last saw Father, and oh boy, he had passed away. Well... he had lived a long life, after all.

And with that, the funeral began. We spotted Paolo, and he approached us with that annoying smirk on his face. Ugh, I can't stand him.

"Hey, Vincenzo, my brother, how are you?" he greeted Vin, shaking his hand with a fake smile plastered on his face.

Vin just nodded, not giving him much attention. Paolo's eyes then shifted towards me. I couldn't help but shiver. Even though I'm twice as strong as him, his presence always gets to me.

"Hello, Victoria! Long time no see!" he exclaimed, followed by a ridiculous laugh. He extended his hand towards me, but I couldn't bring myself to touch him. I just stood there, glaring at him. I could sense he was intimidated by my death glare, so he quickly put on a fake smile and went ahead to bid farewell to his father.

After the funeral, Vin and I headed to the Vineyard for a "talk" with Emilio.

"Why are we going again?" I asked, feeling a bit annoyed. "I already told you, he needs to sign what father wanted him to," Vin replied, sounding frustrated.

I couldn't help but suggest, "If he doesn't sign it today, just set his yard on fire with him inside." My words were direct and maybe a bit extreme. Vin simply replied, "I will."
