Vencenzo's POV

As we stepped out of the car, we found ourselves standing in front of the company that holds the treasure trove of gold beneath its surface.

I extended my arm to Victoria, and she graciously took it. We were warmly greeted by Cho Yeong-un, who respectfully addressed us as Mr. Vincenzo and Mrs. Victoria. Let's refer to him as Mr. Cho for convenience.

Once inside the company, Mr. Cho confidently led the way.

""...and here is the-" Before Mr. Cho could continue his sentence, a small boom was heard. I got scared and quickly slipped my arm protectively in front of Victoria.

It was nothing other than a mother and her clumsy teenager fighting in a crazy way. I noticed that Victoria quickly put her hand on her chest to calm herself down, as she looked in slight pain. I turned around and asked, "What's wrong?" I muttered, "My heart." I quickly understood and asked if she was okay. She nodded, and she looked better. I think the sudden impacts still distress her like before.

I even forgot to ask her about her sickness. Stupid me. I'll ask her after we go to the apartment. After walking a bit, we noticed that we're in front of a home prayer. "This is the place where the gold is underneath," Mr. Cho said, which caught both Victoria's and my attention.

We both looked at each other with a smile of victory. Yet, nothing was done yet. Then, the helper of the priest suddenly appeared in the window. I slightly screamed while Victoria held her chest once more. I rubbed her back as she felt relieved and gave me a small thanks while I smiled in return.

I swear if something suddenly bursts again- then he suddenly opened the door, but it was so soft that no one got scared. "I think you must wash your hair before cleansing your soul," I cursed in my mind and fake smiled. We then went to the washer to get my suit all cleaned and prepared for tomorrow.

Victoria was following behind silently as usual, but she looked tired somehow.

After that, we headed to the apartment and as Mr. Cho was showing us around, both Victoria and I exchanged worried glances. The place seemed a bit untidy and poorly designed.

We both breathed a sigh of relief and gave a small expression of gratitude to Mr. Cho as he left the apartment.

I said, "Let's clean up a bit and then we can talk," and she nodded in agreement. The apartment had two bedrooms, a kitchen, one bathroom, and a small living room connected to the kitchen.

I chose the one on the left, and Victoria picked the one on the right.

After an hour~

Still Vincenzo's POV

Vic hopped in the shower first, and I followed right after. Once I finished tidying up my clothes in the closet and going through my usual routines, I plopped down on the couch in the living room, eagerly waiting for Victoria.

It was already 11 at night, and my stomach was growling, so I decided to whip up some noodles for dinner since I was starving, and I knew Vic must have been just as hungry.

After about 15 minutes, I called out for Vic, but she didn't answer. I got a bit worried, so I quickly knocked on her door and went inside. And there she was, breathing heavily and looking all frustrated, searching for something.

Naturally, I asked her what was wrong, and she replied in stutters, "M-my meditations, I-I can't find them."

I asked her, gently rubbing her back, "What do they look like?" She clenched her chest, struggling to speak as she said, "They're in a small black bag, I c-can't hold it any longer."

Seeing her in distress, I quickly reacted. Since her room was clean and tidy, I carefully moved her to the bed to avoid any discomfort from the hard floor. Then, I sprang into action and started searching.

After a solid three minutes, I found the bag in the living room on the table. With a sigh of relief, I grabbed the bag and a glass of water, swiftly returning to her side. She only took two boxes from the bag and handed me the empty glass.

I continued to rub her back while she tried to calm herself down. After about ten minutes, she was feeling better and could breathe properly again.

I was a bit shaken, but that's just how I am when it comes to my sister. She's my only family, after all.

"Thank you Vin" she warmly smiled at me as I returned with the same warmth.

I asked, concerned, "Does this happen all the time?" She replied, "Generally, yes, most of the time. It also happened because I forgot to bring my medicine with me.-"

"-I didn't know we would arrive this late at night. If I had brought it, it would have only caused a little discomfort at night. But it was my fault for not being considerate enough about my situation.-"

"-I'm sorry for letting you worry, brother" she apologised.

I hugged her tightly, allowing her to relax and comforting her as much as possible. "From now on, please never forget to take your medication. I don't want you to get hurt again" I said softly.

She nodded in agreement. "So now, let's eat. I made some noodles," I suggested. Her eyes sparkled with excitement upon hearing my words, and she got up to go to the living room.

After finishing our meal, we cleaned up and sat down again. It was late, but we needed to have a serious conversation.

"Victoria," I called out to her, and she hummed, signaling for me to continue.

"Can you please explain what happened with your condition? It's clear that it hasn't been fully cured," I asked her directly.

She took a deep breath and began to share. "Well, as you can see, my illness is still the same, and it's painful to say that there's no cure for it. But thankfully, I'm not going to die-" I interrupted her gently.

"Don't worry, I'll try to find a solution," I reassured her.

"It's okay, I know my body. Anyway, tell me about Babel," she said, sounding excited.

I proceeded to tell her everything about both companies, Babel and Geumga Plaza: Jipuragi Law Firm. And then she shared her incredible ideas with me, which I wholeheartedly agreed with.

She showed me some of her work in London, and she was always winning.

"I'm so proud of you, Vic," I said, gently caressing her hair. She giggled. "I'm proud of you too, Vin," she sweetly replied.

We then excused ourselves to sleep and bid each other goodnight.

Oh, and by the way, I had a little adventure with a pigeon, but I managed to sleep anyways.
