Jodie's Narration:
Birthdays are a celebration of one's life, and a reminder that with every year, you age another year older and closer to death. But no one really thinks about that aspect on birthdays. Most people think about the happiness that they bring.Jughead's Narration:

(The Sunnyside Trailer Park)FP: *standing beside JJ in his front yard, smiling as he watches ten-year-old Jodie shoot down empty beer cans with her bb-gun* Damn, she's a better shot than I was at her age.
JJ: *chuckles softly* You definitely won't have to worry about any boyfriends, Little Brother.
FP: Hey, uh, don't tell Gladys, but I think I'm gonna start letting Jo practice with Joni's old shotgun.
JJ: She still pissed off about the bb-gun?
FP: Yep.
JJ: *sighs a little* Me and Liv didn't think it'd be a big deal getting Jodie that for her birthday.
FP: Don't worry about it. I want Jo to learn how to shoot.
Jodie: *looks at him, after hearing her gun click* Daddy, I'm out of bbs.
FP: I left the container in the kitchen. Go ahead and bring it out.
Jodie: Okay. *starts walking towards the front steps, carrying her gun with her*
JJ: *watching her go inside the trailer* I wish I had a daughter.
