In the small town of Riverdale, nothing bad ever happens. Until the Fourth of July, when the town's beloved Jason Blossom was murdered. The mystery of the high school quarterback's death was something no one could solve. No one; except for Jodie Jon...

The Twilight Drive-In (Day 2)
It was early the next morning, Jughead and me were both still sleeping peacefully beside each other in the cot we shared. Hey, don't judge. It's either this, or one of us sleeping on the cement floor. Well, everything was calm, until our damn alarm started going off at 6am.
Jodie: *groaning softly* Mmm... *reaches over and smacks the clock a couple times, before it finally turns off. She slowly sits up, stretching her arms* C'mon, Jug. Time to get up. *throws off their comforter, making her brother groan. She gets out of bed and goes over to the duffel bag she kept her clothes in*
Jughead: *getting out of bed, his hair a complete mess* Morning, Jode.
Jodie: Morning. *takes out a few pieces of clothing and grabs a pair of black boots. She stands up and slips into her flip flops, leaving the projection booth*
I quickly head over to the women's restroom, since it was a little chilly outside. After going inside, I set my clothes down on the sink and I begin getting undressed. Well, first day of sophomore year, and my sense of fashion hasn't changed. Dark red t-shirt, black ripped jeans, a dark plaid shirt tied around my waist, black leather jacket, black combat boots, and my iconic gray crown beanie. It was kinda pretty standard attire on the southside, while fancy name-brand clothes were standard on the northside. After brushing my hair with my fingers, I put my beanie on my head and leave the restroom. As I go back towards the projection booth, I see Jughead, already dressed and waiting for me.
Jughead: *holding her laptop bag, while his was across his shoulder* Finished dolling yourself up?
Jodie: *rolls her eyes, smirking a little* Hey, this doesn't just happen on its own. *motions at herself, taking her bag and putting it across her shoulder* Now, let's go. *starts walking towards her motorcycle* I wanna have some of Pop's pancakes before school. *gets on the front of the motorcycle*
Jughead: *getting on behind her* Yeah, and extra bacon.
Jodie: *handing him his helmet, chuckling* Pop's gonna make you wash dishes one night to make up for all your extras.
Jughead: *chuckles* It'd be worth it. *puts on his helmet, while Jodie puts on hers*
Pretty soon, I turn on the motorcycle engine, kicking back the kickstand. A few seconds later, we ride away, on our way into town to get breakfast before school.
