As Robert looked at nothing all he could think about was Kimalie. Did he make a mistake killing him or did he make the right choice. Those were the thoughts that haunted him ever since he made the drastic decision to get rid of him.
"Mi make the right decision man." He said lowley to himself,but deep down he knew that he would soon regret it.
When Robert met kimalie as a kid he saw a soldier, the wolf of the pack he described him as, because deep down he knew that the kid infront of him would one day become a man that could change his empire,but for better or worse?
When he broke his orders and started seeing his daughter he got jealous. Jealous of the fact that he's so close to her yet so far from her. He couldn't stand the fact that someone was taking his daughter away from him,even though he lost her a long time ago because of his past decisions.
He knew that a lot of things that he did was bad, but his ego and ambition overruled his conscience and after a while he just became a cold and heartless man.
His mind then drifted to Edna,her beauty was what captivated him when they first met, and his drive towards success drew her to him,but his ego grew too big and pushed her away. Losing her love was his greatest loss. After she tried to hide Dejah from him and threatened to leave him he did the unthinkable, he blacklisted her from every hospital he could think of. He couldn't stand to lose her,so to keep her around he threatening her career,knowing she had nowhere or no one to turn to,after all she gave up everything for him.
While reminiscing about his life Robert realized that he has everything that he's ever dreamt of. He's smart,he's rich and he is successful. He isn't a nobody like his father predicted him to be when he was younger,he was a powerful man that could have anything he wanted,but yet he was still unhappy.
He had all the money in the world, but who to share it with. His son hated him, he lost his only love and his daughter,he sold her to the highest bidder just to get to where he is today. Selling her into marriage was one of his greatest regrets in life,he would have done anything to break her free from her fate,but he was too late. The only thing that could free her from marrying Amir was death and he knew that if he killed him,the connections that his father had would surely bring his empire tumbling down.
"I have everything yet I still have nothing." Robert said wearily to himself. If he could give it all away he would. He would sacrifice it all for his family if they took him back,but he knew that would never happen, the damage was already done.
He had made too many bad decisions while coming up and now he had to deal with them. He also made many enemies in his day,but he always got rid of them, somehow he now faces his greatest enemy ever, an enemy that he could never get rid of no matter how hard her tried, an enemy called consequences.
