"I KISSED HIM." jackie shrieked, barging into the room basically breaking the door down.

"kissed who? and when?" i asked while coating my lashes in mascara. i was intrigued by the topic.

"yesterday," she flopped on to the bed like a starfish and she sighed.

"and you're just telling me this now?" i put my hand to my chest and pretend to act heartbroken.

"sorry!" she chuckled.

i've never, in my 16 years of living, seen jackie, my sister, this head over heels over a guy. the last time i saw anything close to that, was back in the eighth grade where she wouldnt leave this guy alone. i spin around in my seat to face my sister.

"who?" i asked, impatiently.

"alex." she grinned widely, sitting up and putting a pillow to her face.

"you kissed alex?" my mouth gaped open, "alex walter? are you sure he didn't turn his face away like he did last time?"

"dont be an asshole," jackie laughed, throwing the pillow at me, "but yes im sure it was real."

"oh god, you better not make out here or in school or in the car like how cole and erin do it." i roll my eyes, putting on a swipe of lip gloss.

"no promises," she winks, getting up from the bed.

"you are disgusting!" i gagged as she skipped out the door, shutting it behind her.

the door knocked a few minutes after she left.

"seriously jackie, i do not want to hear about your love life right now!" i call.

"it's me," isaac opens the door and shuts it behind him.

"yes?" i question, wondering why he's just standing there.

"can we talk?" he asks, sitting down at the edge of my bed.
