Ravena finished packing up the essentials.

Essentials as in multiple flashlights, gummy bears, notebooks, cameras, her ear piece, and weapons.

Guns, knives, anything she could use to hurt a human being. She packed up some ropes and wondered if those were enough. They, as in, Edena and her, would most likely be gone for two weeks. She shrugged, it wasn't like she needed water or food anyways.

She only packed the gummy bears because she had taken a liking to their sweetness over the past few months.

Ravena knew that she wasn't... Human. Not even a Superhuman. She didn't need food or water, her body did not produce sweat, odors, and what not. She could eat anything and drink enough, even dangerous things but.. She didn't have to consume those things. Either way, she would survive. It was strange.

Her friends tried to figure out what she was, but even she did not know.

She could regenerate even faster than a superhuman, her hand had been cut off, and it grew in less than a second. She did not bleed as others did, her 'blood' was black and slimy, it was poisoned to her enemies. Ravena remembered when she ran away from the lab, she was bleeding profusely. One of them had tried to tackle her, and by sniffing the air, he was on the floor, choking.

He died, and Ravena was overcome with the animalistic desire to consume him. So she gave in, and she ate his organs. Then, she felt so fulfilled and satisfied. It was as if the grains and water they had given her weren't enough.

When was the last time she had eaten flesh? She hummed.

That was two years ago. She was now supposedly thirty years old. Supposedly because again, she wasn't sure how old she was. Roman came at the same time she did.

Ravena crossed her arms, she finished packing up. She would travel with Edena tomorrow, but of course, after the meeting with Brenden.

Ravena's thoughts wandered off somewhere forbidden. Suddenly, her mind itched with the decision to open the door. She gave in, but only for a split second. As she was about to close her door, Joshua walked passed her room, looking rather distraught. Ravena hurried out of her trance, she shouted at Joshua, who turned around.

Ravena could see that he looked perturbed, he buzzed as a response.

Ravena lifted a brow, something.. troubling surged inside of her. A lump in her throat that questioned her understanding of herself. "..Are you Alright?"

Joshua's eyes enlarged at the obvious hint of concern lingering in her voice. "..I.. I'm fine, are you?"

Ravena showed a rare frown, she stammered in uncertainty. "I feel strange.. It might be because you're not alright."

Joshua was shocked, he looked away. "..I really—"

"Don't lie to me!" Ravena raised her voice at Joshua for the first time.

Joshua slumped his shoulders down. "I'm sorry. Old memories surfaced, it overwhelmed me."

Ravena lifted a hand up, she stepped forward and rubbed Joshua's bare muscular arm. "It'll be alright, I'm sure of it."

Joshua shyly averted his stare, he pursed his lips, his cheeks reddened slightly. "..Y-yes. I believe you, you're always right."

Ravena blinked several times, she let her hand drop. She gripped the edge of her pullover, accepting his quick smile. Joshua walked away to clear his mind some more.

He felt his heart pounding in his chest.

Roman sat on his desk playing a video game after Pierre hat abruptly cut off the connection. He picked up his cookie and threw it inside of his mouth, munching on it while concentrating on the game.

Until, his other screen flickered. His eyes instantly inspected the lights. It signaled that something was up in the Upside city. Roman hacked the cameras in the Upside city, so he was watching them 24/7.

He grumbled under his breath and turned off his game. He rolled his chair around and eyed the other computers.

This wasn't the first time he was doing this. You could say it was his job, his position as one of the Rulers of Mispair. He was watching, everyday, at all times.

Roman joined the group two years ago, the same time Ravena came. He was on the run after messing with the Upside city's government. He hacked into their system, and found something very alarming. And he had done so for a few days, but he was caught.

The disappearing gateway.

He arrived in Mispair because of that door.

And till this day,

Roman was unsure about why the door decided to appear for him. Maybe it was the Superhuman's doing.

But he was grateful.

He squinted his eyes as he focused on what he was seeing.

What the fuck? Roman cursed in his mind.

A.I beings held shotguns, pointing them at civilians that crouched down, tears staining their faces. Roman gulped as he continued switching the cameras and watching. People were being shot. Someone tried to run away, but unfortunately for them, they were shot down too. He switched the cameras again.

There was a camera facing the beach. Where the cars, luggages, and other items and bodies littered around, Arnold stood there.

His hands folded behind his back as he watched his men drive tow trucks tow the abandoned cars away. The cars had clearly become lesser than a few days ago. Roman switched the cameras again, in hopes of spotting tow trucks.

And he did.

The trucks all followed the first one who was leading. The first truck stopped in front of an edge.

The upside city was practically floating, but that was just Mispair holding it up. Dreamaspira was above Mispair, they covered the sky so most of the time, it looked like Mispair was always in the night. And Dreamaspira in the Morning.

Fucking pricks.

What happened next shocked Roman.

The person driving the truck, lifted the car in the air that was behind it and let it drop on Mispair,

In the abandoned streets. Where Brenden's victims where burned at.
