3rd Person POV:
It was 8 in the afternoon. Yae and Y/N were preparing for a New Years party in their house. A big long table were in the middle of the room. Y/N was preparing the food while Yae was setting up the drinks.
Y/N was in the kitchen making food for the party. Yae went in the kitchen and hugged Y/N from behind. "Hello love, are you almost done making the food?" Yae asked while burying her face between Y/N's shoulder and neck, "Yea, i'm almost done yae" Y/N chuckled.

It was now 11.50 pm and everyone was already here. Some are drinking while talking to eachother, others are eating, and some is having a karaoke. Y/N and Yelan was sitting down and having a chat with eachother. "So, yelan how is it going with shenhe?" Y/N asked while taking a sip of wine, "eh it's been alright i guess. It's just that she can be so dense at times" Yelan sighed "Well that's shenhe for you. Just have some patience i'm pretty sure she will get it sometimes" Y/N explained.
"Ok ok enough about me. How about you?" "We've been well. We haven't be able to go on any dates though" "why don't you suggest to go on a date tomorrow? new year luck maybe who knows. Hey atleast you aren't stuck with a dense person..." "lol goodluck with that yelan" Y/N stood up and went towards Yae who is talking to raiden.
"Yae, its almost time. 3 more minutes" Y/N said to Yae while handing her a mic. With a quick thanks yae took the mic and started speaking, "Thank you everyone for coming to this party. We are here to celebrate the end of this wonderful year and start a new chapter. We are thankful to have you all in our lives as our friends, and family (11.58). In this year we have made some fun memories together, i'm sure we all miss those memories but there is gonna be a new chapter ahead of us (11.59). And like a new chapters to a book, we are gonna make new memories with our loved ones. And let's enjoy our time together every year and i hope we will stay as friends and explore the new chapter ahead of us together." On the perfect timing, the fireworks started "Happy new years everyone" Yae ended the speech and everyone cheered.
Everyone went outside and shake each others hands saying happy new years to each other while fireworks are going off in the background. Y/N and Yae went to the upstairs balcony instead to get a clear view of the fireworks together.
"Happy new years love.""happy new years too yae. Let's keep making new and happy memories with each other until the end." "Sure love. As with this hand, i will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty, for i will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way in the darkness. And With this ring, i ask you to be mine" Yae said that while kneeling down in one knee with a ring box opened, smiling ever so sweetly. Y/N's eyes widen in shock as she couldn't believe what she saw. With a quick excited answer, They both embraced each other smiling widely with joy. "I love you, yae." "I love you too, for all eternity long". As on cue, They shared a lovely kissed under the moon light with fireworks in the background.

"WOOO ALRIGHTT THAT'S MY BRO Y/NNN" Itto exclaimed while ayato and thoma are taking pictures of Y/N and Yae. Kuki sigh deeply and drag out a drunken itto out of the scene.

Happy new years everyone! I wish you all a good year in 2024 and moving foward. Thank you all of you for supporting me and reading my story. I didn't believe i would reach 500 reads but you guys blow my expectations and we reach 1.7k!! I couldn't have done this without your support and im thankful all of you for being patient on the story updates.
The story updates are gonna be a bit slow now adays as school gonna be starting and i am having jet lags. but after a month or so i have a 3 month long vacation from school so i would update some stories around that time but i will still try to update and try my best to write it.
