Small update, still the first day though. It's not always going to be like this, maybe more spaced out and longer.

POV: Melody

"MY BRAIN IS CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THIS??"

Aggressively trying to figure out how her locker worked, the aggravated sophomore dropped the lock in defeat. Her curtain bangs got onto her face, and she violently swiped them away from her eyes. "I knew I should've tied these to the crown braid, since it is a PAIN IN THE ASS."

"You are pathetic, Melody," the girl's sister, Emily, told her.

"You think I don't know that???? BESIDES, you couldn't open your locker either! You hit your head against it three times, dented the locker with your scalp, and had to get help from some random weird short glasses-wearing guy from your science class!!!" Melody replied indignantly.

"True."

Failing for the fourth time to open her locker, she sighed and stood up. "Screwww this, I am just going to BREAK MY BACK carrying all these books!"

She looked to the side, hearing a chuckle from her right. A boy, who was wearing glasses and had the worst haircut she'd ever seen, was looking at her in amusement.

"What do you want, Mr. Idiot-With-E-Bay-Hair?" She said, as she struggled to put on her floral-themed backpack with way too many crochet mushroom keychains.

He looked at her with an expression she interpreted as ✨DEATHBRINGER✨. "I have never seen someone struggle with a lock that much- did you even have them in middle school?"

"You should've seen my sister then," she grumbled, embarrassed. "She dented the thing with her head."

"Hey!" Emily called from behind her.

He laughed a bit at that, before going to his locker(that was, conveniently, not too far from her's) and demonstrated how to open it. "It's easy!"

She frowned, but copied what he did and was successful. Melody ecstatically grabbed "FINALLY. Thanks, uhh.."

"It's Jayden," he said. "You owe me two bucks," the boy stated, before turning to his locker.

"WAIT- WHAT- NO I DON'T, HEY! DUDE-" She

"You owe Jayden money too?" a girl behind her asked.

"Yeah, somehow." Melody muttered.

"Me too, he always manipulates people into thinking they owe him money, even though it's on the first day. Unfortunately he was in my middle school" the girl groaned, rolling her eyes.

"Sounds like an annoying bitch," Emily commented.

"Also a bitch that has a terrible haircut," Melody remarked.

"Yeah... Oh by the way" the girl smiled, "I'm Ashwini."

"I'm Emily, and I'm her sibling!!"

"I'm Melody, and we have a common enemy so that's cool."

"Yep, very." Ashwini grinned.

"I'm still here, you know." Jayden mumbled.

"Fuk yeu." Ashwini hissed, in the dumbest voice Melody could ever comprehend.

"AH SHIT," Melody randomly screamed. "IT'S FIVE MINUTES PAST WHEN CLASS STARTED."

"OH! I gotta go to math! See you though!" Ashwini screamed, about to run off.

"WAIT! I HAVE MATH TOO DO YOU KNOW WHERE IT IS?" Emily yelled after her.

"YEAH FOLLOW ME!!" Ashwini bellowed

"DANGIT I HAVE HISTORY!!!" Melody screeched.

"L BOZO BYE!" Emily screamed.

"History..." that 'Jayden' guy muttered, walking into a locker.

Ashwini then got her phone out, searched something up on YouTube and played "Careless Whisper" by George Michael.

At that moment, Melody got down on her knees and yelled

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

After that Ashwini changed the song to depressing violin music while Emily patted Melody's back as she drowned in her own tears, and to add on Jayden was just looking at them baffled the entire time.
