Chaos in High School

~*Chapter 13*~

POV: Melody

Date: September 16th, 2026

 Melody woke up to the sound of her alarm, which was set as the Muffin Song.

It's Wednesday already?

Literally rolling off her bed and turning off the alarm, she checked her closet for a good outfit. In the end, she chose a relatively normal outfit- A white t-shirt, black overalls with daisies, and black converse sneakers.

After doing whatever she needed to do in the morning, she went downstairs. Emily was already there, wearing a black shirt, a pair of jeans embroidered with butterflies, and simple black sneakers.

Speedrunning making a slice of toast, Melody brushed her hair into a half ponytail and secured it with a white claw clip.

"MELODY THE TOASTER IS SMOKING."

"SHIT-" Melody yelped, only to find her piece of toast burnt to a crisp. "NOOOOOO, MY BREADDD!!"

"Skill issue!" Emily said. "Mom's gonna be furious when she gets back home."

"WhAtEVER itS fInE," Melody replied, yeeting the cremated toast into the garbage can and running downstairs. "THE BUS IS ALREADY HERE EMILY!!!!!!"

"HURRY UP YOU WHIMSICAL PIECE OF SHIT!"

The two sisters, screaming, ran downstairs and barely made it in the bus.

Looking around for her friends, Melody spotted her friend group, and saw Maddy and Alisa wave at her as well as Ajay. She noticed that Jayden wasn't there, like he normally would.

Idiot probably missed the bus.

"Hey guys!" Melody said.

"Hi Melody!" Ajay greeted.

"Sup Melody?" Saathvik asked.

"Hey Emily. Hi Melody," Ali mumbled.

"HELLO MELODY!" Alisa yelled.

Maddy simply nodded in acknowledgement.

"Is Rex still sick?" Emily asked.

"Yup," Ali replied.

Melody then turned around and saw Ashwini and Samuel racing each other, trying to beat one another. Her friends then looked up and waved at her, and she waved back. She was confused however.

Where's Lotus?

She then looked farther back and saw Ajay and Lotus blowing kisses at each other.

GROSS! EUGH I NEED TO BLEACH MY EYES!

The bus shortly got to the school where she was greeted by Ashwini legitimately toppling off her bike into the grass.

"OH SHITSICLES!" she yelled.

"This is why you don't skid on the grass Ashwini!" Samuel screamed, "IT'S COMMON SENSE!"

"Oh my god," Melody shrieked, "It's a wild idiot in its natural habitat!"

She then heard a car door bang behind her, only to turn around and see Athena and Nova getting out of their car. She also saw out of the corner of her eye, Vishwath just fell out of his car, all of his books falling out of his backpack. Ashwini then rolled her eyes, but did go to help the idiot with his books.

Soon, Johnny arrived, looking tired as hell. He was wearing navy sweatpants and a black tank top, as if he decided "I'm going to school in pajamas since I'M LAZY!" Additionally, he had eyebags that looked as though they made themselves perfectly at home over the past 15 years.
