Anthea woke up, at the break of dawn, the sunlight hit her face at the right angle, just enough to annoy her eyes. The was in no shape or form a morning person, mess with her in the morning and you'd almost lose an eye.

"Good morning, sunshine." After last nights events Luke was unusually cheerful, despite losing his friend. Thea just groaned at his hello. "Rise and shine, lazy bird" usually that would be Thea's last straw.

"One more minute, or I swear to the gods" expressing her distraught, Thea finally opened her eyes and almost punched Luke. "Good your up, we gotta start." This confused Thea deeply. Start what? She finally woke up, properly and headed to the bathroom to get dressed. Luke had already given her, her own 'camp half-blood' shirt.

"What do we have to start?" Anthea asked Luke while walking on their way to breakfast. "Good morning" Grover was now walking by their side to breakfast. There was a bit of tension in the air around, no one exactly willing to talk about last nights events.

"Thea, how was your first night?" Grover explained. "After, you know, what happened" he tried to make his sentence better, although he felt as he was embarrassing himself, it did lift a tiny bit of the tension.

"It was... ok. The mattress wasn't the comfiest but it will do." She replied back, by then they were already at breakfast. They all sat down in front, facing each other. "Ready to find out if your godly parent will claim you?" Luke asked her, it wasn't his first time showing a new person around, Annabeth being his first. Together they found she was Athena's daughter.

"My godly parent?" She asked completely confused. She wasn't fully onto the idea of knowing her mother, seeing as she hasn't made any attempts to make herself known throughout her entire life, so why start now.

"Yeah, your god part of you, which makes you a demigod." AnnaBeth explained to her. Demigod. Not a word she'll ever get used to. In the back of her mind, thea is still thinking about her father, the only person she's ever fully trusted in her life, apart from Grover. His death still stings from the bottom of her heart. Losing a parent is never fun.

"I don't know if I want to find out who my mother is, she hasn't made any attempts to meet me." Fair enough, Thea's reason why she didn't want to meet or even find out who her mother was seeing as, she's been fine of without her, her whole life, up until now, that is.

After they finished breakfast they started giving Anthea her first proper tour of the whole camp. "First thing is, archery, let's see if your mother will recognise you after that.

As they get to a ground of of luke's mates is the first one to shoot an arrow at a dragon or monster looking target. "This is, Chris, one of my best mates, he'll be sure to help you" Luke informed the girl, stil admiring where she was, even though it was a battlefield. "Let's see what you got new girl." With a dirty glare anyone could think she was a mean person, but behind the annoyance and hurt, the girl just wanted to find who she was.

She took chris' remark as a challenge to show them how good she really is, having no practice literally in archery, but nevertheless she was determined. She took the bow quiver and an arrow and lined herself up targeting the yellow hole in the middle of the target.

She took one long glance then let go, as if all her worry's were going with it, the arrow firmly planted itself into the target, only a few short centimetres off the proper target, barely hanging onto the edge of it. It was a good shot, for a first time, both Chris and Luke had to give it to her.

"That was, a good shot Thea, especially for your first time." Chris told her, she just smiled and turned to Luke with a questioning look, she smiled dropped as soon as he said nothing. "She hasn't claimed me yet hasn't she?" The look Luke gave her said everything. "She'll never want me" was all the said all, Grover, Luke and Chris all quickly reminded her that what she had said wasn't true, not one bit.

"Never, Thea, she'll claim you eventually, we just have to wait it out and try other activities." Grover was quick to her side, comforting her, as a best friend would do. The next task was simple, just hammer hot metal, like a blacksmith. "Do I really have to put the goggles on, they would dint my hair?" She asked Luke, "don't worry, it'll only be for a few seconds." Chris was quick to respond instead of Luke.

She put the goggles on, wanting nothing more than to take them off. She just wanted to get it over and done with. She got the hammer and slammed down on the table as hard as she could, sending the piece of metal of the table with a clank! Just next to the table had been a few bits of cloth. Cursing at her mistake her and the boys quickly left.

After a few more tasks she had, it was time for lunch. Chris ran straight in front of the girl, confusing both Luke and Grover. Him trying to be kind pulled her chair out, so it was easier to sit down and eat.

Fully capable of doing that herself and pissed off at the fact that her mother doesn't want her, all the anger rose up. "Chris, I am fully capable of doing that myself. I don't need others doing stuff for me." As soon as the words left her mouth she immediately regretted them. Before she could apologise a huge rose, sprouted and blossomed right above her head. "Anthea Katz, daughter of Aphrodite!" A confused look now took place on the young Anthea's face. Had her own mother just claim her?

Embarrassed from all the looks she was getting she sat down in front of Luke, Grover by her side, AnnaBeth next to Luke as well now. Each of them gave her a huge smile. Her Clueless self asked why they were smirking so brightly, especially just after their friend had just been yelled at, ad the loud voice. "What? Why are you all smiling so much?" She asked, still completely clueless her own mother had just claimed her.

"Aphrodite. She's your mother." AnnaBeth was the one to let her know. A small smile made its way across the youngest girls face. After years of no clue who her own mother was, Anthea finally knew who her mother was.

"Aphrodite." She whispered just above her breath
