"We'll hopefully be there and minute now." With hopes of turning up at camp HalfBlood, they spent several minutes going around in circles, the loud noise of cars an honks in the distance kept getting louder and clearer every step they took.

Quietly a few voices were heard over the bustling city noises. "Quickly, before she comes back" one voice spoke. "What if she does? Then what" another voice spoke up.

Grover put Thea behind him, shielding her the best he could do from whatever they're about to face. Shoving a bush out of the way, the two friends came face to face with two young girls and another young boy, only one of the three looking to be Anthea's age, the other two a little bit older.

The youngest girl had a look of excited shock on her face, the other two not reciprocating that expression, except expression complete confusion at the two kids who just emerged out of the bushes.  After a few stares the older looking girl spoke up. "Who are you?"

"I'm Anthea Katz, this is-" before she could finish her scenetence though the girl who seemed to be of same age as her spoke up... "Grover!" Rushing to hug him as if haven't seen him for years.

"You know grover?" Anthea asked timidly, unfamiliar with the stares she's been getting along with Grover's new friend. "He was my best friend since I can remember, till he moved away."sadness evident in her voice with the last bit of her sentence.

"Well I'm Luke Castellan, pleasure to meet you, and this is-" before again Luke could introduce himself the last older girl spoke up to introduce herself. "Thalia, Thalia Grace" she spoke firmly and confidently for her age against the younger girl.

"Great, now that formalities are all over, we all need to get to camp as fast as possible." All of them running back through the bushes in hopes of reaching the entrance of the demigod camp. As they were all running the heard a loud booming noise, covering there ears wit their hands from the loudness.

"What was that?" Hey kept running looking back every once and a while before seeing a huge Minotaur running after them, behind the Minotaur were three bird looking monsters, a lot like Alecto, who she fought just before meeting the three others. Funnily enough while running for their lives the Minotaur looked to be wearing underwear.

"Quick, Grover make sure Annabeth, Luke and Anthea all make it to camp halfblood. I'll be able to fight them off, promise me you will." She screams while stopping behind the others.

All four of them screaming at her not to, but Thalia was a soldier, she was her fathers daughter, and she would protect the ones she cares about, within a heartbeat.

"Go, save yourselves, I'll be ok, I can fight them off, but go, while you have time." She urged them more, hoping for their sakes they'd leave her behind, they were only a few steps out of camp. But Thalia knew she would also be saving camp.

Although it was stupid to go in alone she had a small sliver of hope, hope for her friends new and old would make and and hope that she could possibly be powerful enough to fight of a Minotaur, and three flying furies.

"No please, I need you Thalia!" Annabeth desperately screamed, without her she felt as if a small piece of her was missing. Thalia still had so much to teach them. She loved them truely. The only thing that could save her friends was to push them out of danger and into camp.

With all her strength she pushed them away from her just as the monster came came close enough to harm them. One piercing Thalia's skin, injuring her and giving her a disadvantage. Focusing on the monsters she swiftly tried to distract the furies while fighting the Minotaur.

Stabbing the Minotaur in the eye then the ribs Thalia watched quickly as it disinter grated. Now all that was left were the furies, with the added advantage of being able to fly, making Thalia's job hard.

Getting in a few good jabs and stabs at the furies, Thalia was quick, hopefully quick enough was all the other four could think about. Suddenly behind her one of the furies flew straight at her jabbing her in the back, the other four were too late to scream out.

"Thalia!" .... "Nooo!", all Thalia's friends called out, witnessing her painful looking death. The pain they all felt as they watched her fall.

Thalia feeling little pain knowing her friends were safe even though she was at her deathbed. With her last thought she prayed up to the gods, specifically her father, to protect her and her friends, while she can't. Lying down the furies were quick thinkers, flying straight to the four friends, who were left defenceless.

Zeus hearing from above, protected his daughter. Turning her life force, after facing a mortal death, into a pine tree, protecting her soul and her body from monsters. Everyone was confused. With a small smile, Thalia temporarily left the world content knowing she protected her friends and her father protected her.

A huge force field boomed it's way around camp. Just before the furies hit camp. The force field pushing the furies forcefully back, trying again in, their attempts in vien as they kept getting pushed back. Camp as well as Luke, Annabeth, Grover and Anthea saved, all because of their selfless and courages friend Thalia Grace.
