Ex-Childhood Crush

Leeizel's POV

" Sir the house it seems has been empty for some time". The soldier told it's general.
" Very well , call in the head solider of the mission".
With a nod of respect the soldier left only for another to replace it in two minutes.
" Sir ". The solider saluted.
" Audrey sit down ". He waved towards the chair in front of his desk.
The table was clean , things in place and well organised.
A flag hung behind the desks chair on the minty green walls.
A glass book case was to the right of the desk which was filled with books , metals and trophies.
Certificates of all kinds hung on the east wall.
" Tell me maybe she's at her grandmas . At the Zeglins house ". He tried.
" We've been there,  took her mother for questioning like you said ".

" The mother is at comfort is she not ". Leeizel questioned.
" Most certainly ".

" Has she told us anything about Abriel's whereabouts".

" Said the girl is wanted by the enemy and was rushed out of the country ".
The general sat still for a moment looking at the globe on his desk.
The feeling of concern ambushed him and he had a hard time keeping the feelings of his face.
" Aha , but the Capitol is almost ours yes . I saw men preparing for their departure for the Capitol on my way in ".

" Yes sir the capitol is already half ours ". The soldier said with a nod.
" Okay the girl has Mrs.Zeglin said where she is".

" In London sir but there is a problem ". The solider hesitated afraid of his superiors fury.
" What now ". Snapped Leeizel.
" The husband of the woman Abriel was staying with kicked her out says the grandma , Abreil called them but they had nothing to do for her and it is unsafe for her to return she is still wanted on the list". The soldier said with his head bowed.
" So now she's roaming the streets of London , a Zeglin on the streets ". At the last part he slammed his hand on the desk shaking its contents.
" We're going to her house , have a card board box and bring with you her friend Nora vanty ". He ordered.

He stood with his military uniform in her room.
He had about ten minutes until the others got here .
Her room reflected Abriel's personality.
The walls were the colour white .
On the wall that had the lighting switch on had what looked like book quotes.
He was familiar with some.
The sentences were close together scattered all over the wall going as high as his height which wasn't Abriel's.
She must have used a chair he thought.
There was a book shelf directly in front of the door under the A.C .
The way they were stacked also talked of her personality.
That Abreil liked neatness and the outward look of prettiness.
For the way the books were stacked looked better than the ones in book stores.
A queen sized bed was put next to the shelf.
In front the bed was a desk with its own small shelf above it.
In the four squares of the shelf in one of them was a picture.
Squinting at it he saw that it was a picture of a man smiling with a diploma in one hand he was wearing a graduation cap.
There were a lot of familiar features between the two.
Taking a wild guess he guessed it was her father.
In the year he was killed he remembered Abreil usually talked about him at school , put pictures of him and everything and proudly declared she was his daughter.
Would post pictures of him online.
But after that year it was as if she wanted no accossiation with him.
Abriel took her mother's last name , deleted all the pictures she's posted of him the year before.
And when new teachers asked about her father she'd reply that he was away.
Only rarely did she speak of him but when she did it was like a flood but she only talked if she knew you were trustworthy enough.
If not only stiff answers were given about him from her .

On the west wall was wall paper with patterns of high heels.
He was evaluated from his thoughts with the presence of people coming in.

" Ms.Vanty ". He greeted the brunette with hazel eyes.
" General". She said avoiding his eyes.
The card board box was put on the bed.
" I have a task for you , think you can do it ". He told her.
" I um yes ". She said smoothing down her shirt.
" I want you to put things Abriel can't live without ". He said.
Nora nodded and first went to the wardrobe .
That occupied half of the East and south walls.
Opening the first compartment was shirts thay were hung on a rack.
Nora went through them and put a white shirt that was meant to reach the elbows it said 'cheerleader' in red.
A black tanktop and a colourful tanktop was put in the box.
A silk black shirt also to the elbows and a neon orange shirt were put in the box with about three other shirts including a galaxy shirt.
A blue coat with black buttons and a yellow abd white bath robe .
The other wardrobe was now opened.
Nora went on her knees to reach the lower half of the wardrobe that included leggings , skirts and shorts , trousers put in separate compartments.
Galaxy leggings , zebra , black and white striped leggings along with black leggings wers thrown in the box.
A black skirt along with galaxy shorts.
Abreil must have really loved space.
Nora just picked out clothes as if she knew just what Abreil loved.
Another dip dyed blue shorts were selected.
The whole compartment of trousers was taken out and dumped into the box.
The box by the way is large .
Heels were also picked out of the wardrobe.
The next wardrobe was opened and Nora picked out shorts and tank tops that he now guessed was homes wear.
Nora opened a drawer that had under clothes.

Leeizel turned around and pretended to look at the opposite wall as if he wants embarrassed.
Nora moved on to the makeup table and shook out drawers of a jewelry box into the box.
The first drawer was opened and a coca cola shape design thing was also put.
" What's that ". He asked curiously.
" Lip balms ". She replied throwing three more lipsticks.
Head bands and four perfumes were thrown in the midst.
Nora sighed and said.
" She has a lot of things , good thing this box is huge".
Gloves , scarves , hats and mittens were thrown in.
A smile now hovered on Noras lips as she went to the book shelf . Her fingers ran along the spines of the books.
In the end .
She chose eight books.
" That's about it ". Nora said.
Leeizel pointed to one of his soldiers.
"Find Abriel Zeglin in London and have that box sent to her ".
Leeizel was going to make the Capitol his so Abriel can come home.
" And release her mother while your at it ". He said as an after thought.
" And not to forget this ". Nora put in a stuffed duck in the box.
