• Kritika
The next week passed away in a blink and now we are here, walking out of the Mumbai airport.
As we moved out, there was a guy standing holding a placard with "Sanjay Rawat" written on it.
It was weird because we were not in a movie where people were gonna come to pick us up at the airport.
It is really going to be awkward for the next few days.
I mean we are staying at the place of complete strangers, maybe not for my parents but for me yes they are.
Soon we reached.
We wanted to take the luggage with us but the driver guy would just not let us pick our bags saying "ye kaam aapko shobha nahi deta" (this work doesn't suit you.)
So unwantedly, without the luggage we walked in the FREAKING MANSION.
OH MY GOD.
This place is surreal. The structure and the design is just perfect. We walked towards the gate where an elderly couple waited for us. Rahul and Rajvee Singhania.
I was walking at the extreme left and I heard some footsteps behind me, i tired back and before I could see anyone, someone bumped into me and we both fell down with a loud thud.
"Ouch" the guys said rubbing his head. And the same reaction came out of me.
Mom dad and aarav stopped right there and saw a guy and me lying on the ground in opposite directions and holding our heads. But no one came and offered a hand to me, so rude. Aarav was laughing while mom and dad smiled.
He stood up a few seconds later and put his hand forward in my direction.
"Hey I am sorry, I was in a hurry. You know kritika ji aa rahe hain and her family too, in a few minutes and mom will punch me in the face if i don't do what she said to me"
He said as I held his hand and stood up fixing my clothes.
I wore a black tracksuit so they got dirty.Meanwhile I just smiled at his words. He is so cute.
Before I could say anything he ran towards the couple standing a few metres away shouting-
"I am sorry but I will meet you soon bye"
"What was all this" Aarav said as I moved towards him.
"Leave it let's go" I exclaimed.
As we reached where they were standing, they hugged my parents and greeted us all.
Rajvee aunty walked towards me with a wide smile and somewhat a proud expression.
"Hello aunty" I said before she could say anything and bent down to touch her feet, but she stopped me midway holding my shoulders and hugged me softly like I were a delicate doll.
We parted from the hug and she placed her hand on my cheek saying,
"You look so beautiful, in real life you feel like a pretty doll"
"Thank you so much aunty, you are no less"
I said and we exchanged smiles.I greeted Sanjay uncle too and they invited us in.
We soon settled and were offered sweets, water , tea and everything else.
A random discussion went on for another half an hour whole me and aarav were just giving our opinions on something when asked or else we were mostly quite.
They told us about their family history, what is their profession and what do their children do for living and our parents did the same thing.
"Ahaan will board the flight today so he'll be here tomorrow so we are sorry if you wanted to meet him today" Rajvee aunty said.
"No it is alright, work is important too. We are here for a few more days so it is okay." Mom said continuing the conversation.
"But you can meet ishaan right now, wait let me call him, he is quite busy arranging everything."
She called his name and he came running down the stairs.
"Yes mumma, everything is done" ishaan said
"It is okay ishaan, come and meet everyone" she told him about us and he looked at me in shock
"Oh my god!! You are kritika? And I bumped into to you and said all that stupid things I am sorry" he was embarrassed.
"No no it's all okay, you were just in a hurry" I said while ishaan came and touched our parents feet, shook hands with aarav, me and then he sat down opposite to us.
We all sat there for another half an hour but then they asked if we wanted to rest, yes ofcourse. I am so freaking tired.
Mom and dad didn't bother to say that they are okay and they don't need rest right now as they had a few more things to talk about.
Meanwhile ishaan showed aarav his room telling every essential thing is already there and if he needs anything he is free to call him as he gave aarav his number.
"Bye di" aarav said.
Then we walked towards my room which was on the first floor on a distant corner with only one neighbouring room. God knows whose room is that.
"Can I also call you di?"
Ishaan asked with so innocence. He is so generous my god!!"Of course ishaan"
"Di thank you so much for coming here and I am still sorry for what I did earlier but it is so nice to meet you" he said while opening the room's door for me.
As I entered, I was just mesmerized. Everything was so beautiful and so thoughtfully arranged, there was a view beach view with floor to celing windows. This is literally my dream view.
And i will be waking up daily with this view for next few days. Just wow
"It's okay ishaan and it's amazing to meet you"
"Di If you need anything you're free to call me or anyone, we all will have lunch together in about 2 hours so I'll see you then and you are really pretty, bhai will go mad after you"
"Ayee no, you cutu"
I said and closed the door and red colour tinted my cheeks as I remembered what ishaan said about ahaan 'bhai will go mad after you'.
Okay I need to stop behaving like a kid and blush over the fiance my parents have decided for me.I roamed around the room and saw my luggage already kept in a corner, so I opened it and then changed my clothes.
After that I just laid on the bed thinking about everything going on since a week. It was really happening week. I had a lot of things going through my mind about writing and about my career, everything is messy right now.
Today ahaan's parents didn't talk about marriage which was a good thing because there is a lot to talk about other than our marriage.
I closed my eyes and then drifted to sleep.
{ Di: a Hindi word used for 'elder sister' }
