Backstory:
Riley's parents were known detectives, they worked and worked and barely bad time for Riley and his sister, he learnt to take care of himself by himself and his parents were like strangers to him
Riley was the typical weird kid with access on the internet at a early age, that's how he got obsessed with conspiracies, if his parents checked his search history, they would have found stuff about the illuminati and unresolved mysteries of the world
He became friends with Angie, Creston and Diana due to them being similar in different ways (unbothered parents and weird kids), they often reunited on Riley's treehouse and they talked to each other through walkie talkies with codenames (that I'm still thinking about)
Their friendship lasted years, Riley wanted to investigate about the disappearance of Layne Albright and her sister Leila and they made a bunch of theories
Diana: they were always with this guy that selled junk, maybe he was actually a demon! And he took them!
Riley: …Diana that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard
Some students said that when they last saw Layne they were on the way to the woods, Riley decided they were going to the woods, his friends protested saying that their parents wouldn't allow them out, since it was already dawn, Riley was going to go alone because his parents were out of town and his aunt; who was currently taking care of him and his sister, doesn't pay much mind to him anyway so be could go out at night
Riley went to the woods, determined, he stumbled with a boy, Blake, he saw his fairy traits and had his mouth wide open, Blake immediately erased his memory and made him fall asleep, when Riley woke up he had no memory of Blake (and why the hell was he in the woods???), he came back home and his aunt got mad at him for returning so late, Riley told her that he didn't what this was all about, his aunt (obviously) didn't believe him
His friends asked Riley how did it go the next day, Riley told them he didn't know what they were talking about, he only connected the dots and realized his memory of yesterday's events got erased because his friends reminded him that he takes tapes on his tape recorder, he heard the recording that supposedly was from yesterday saying that he was going to the woods and investigate about Layne and Leila's case and he was like ‘WTF’
Riley came to a conclusion… during his search in the woods he got abducted by aliens (??), they impregnated him with an alien baby (????) and they deleted his memory, his friends were reluctant of his theory but fuck it their friend's memory was erased and any possibility, as weird it was, was still a possibility
He “meet” Blake later (of course Blake was disguised), Riley told Blake the whole story about his memory and how he thought he got abducted by aliens, Blake immediately believed him, that's how they became friends, unawarely to Riley, Blake became his friend to use him
Riley: ok so the recording said I was going to the woods and I think that's where they erased my memory
Blake: *sweating* oh really?
Blake did a bunch of stuff with Riley and company, Blake immediately became pretty close to them, everything was fine until one day Blake was like ‘ok guys pack your things we are going to the woods no questions asked’, they were all like ‘wtf’ and then Blake confessed everything and they were still like ‘wtf’
Anyways they went through the portal, saving themselves from Zalaph taking over a̶m̶e̶r̶i̶c̶a̶ umm the world, Obsidian made them live in a shark where they would give the humans + Blake food and stuff, they didn't tell the order because their job be damned, Blake apologized for what he did and the humans immediately forgave him
And that's how Riley and friends's shenanigans on the magical realm started..
