Angie was pretty happy with her life, nice mom, nice dad… she didn't get along that well with her brother, he always gave her a weird vibe and in general she didn't like to be around him
Then it was revealed that her brother abused one of her cousins, he went to jail and he is still there to this day, her mother became depressed and she was always arguing with Angie's dad, eventually they got divorced, with her mother raising Angie and her dad paying child support and sending her letters
Angie's mom became worse, she was often drinking and smoking around the house and was unemployed, only getting money from Angie's child support, Angie wasn't well off as a result, her mother worked as a prostitute and bought men to sleep with on her own home, where Angie was, this affected Angie
not only that, but some men were interested on Angie and tried to get close to her, her mother was upset and saw Angie as a competence, but then she thought she could use this, and most of the time instead of sleeping with her the men slept with Angie, her mother was just happy to get money so she could support herself (and Angie too I guess)
this resulted on Angie never liking to be around grown men, she didn't care if they had a kind personality, they always creeped Angie out (she just like me fr)
She meet her friends (Riley, Creston and Diana) and they bonded over their horrible parents and how they were seen as weird
Then years later Riley's memory got erased, she meet Blake, she went to the magical realm and blah blah blah
(Angie is the fanfic writer who always haves the most fucked up shit happen to them, “hey guys sorry for not updating I escaped from this world because a monster took over where I live and now I live in this cabin in a magical world, updates will be slow from now on, but here's the new chapter”)
