Backstory:
Ember and Aiden have the same backstory (duh), while Aiden was a troublemaker and a bully, Ember was a victim, by that I don't mean her brother bullied her, she was bullied at school for being half-demon, Aiden did horrible things to the aggressors
Ember was pretty different in the past, she was shy, timid and tried not to bring attention to herself, she is like Yuri, shy and into some.. unusual stuff
When Aiden and Sid became friends, they started hanging out with Ember too, they were Ember’s first friend, she also became friends with Lucy when she started studying in Kaxnora academy
The same thing that happened to Aiden happened to her, her mother died and her father started abusing them, Aiden and Ember committed arson and killed their father, running away with Scarlet, while Aiden became more spiteful, Ember became more insane, she was into creepy stuff but this was another level, Ember became.. crazy after that (not on the Nifty level though-)
Blah blah blah she meet Kara and Lancelot blah blah blah she became besties with Erick and worked for Zalaph blah blah blah betrayal blah blah blah-
Some years later (I won't specify when because idkkk but she was a teenager), she found a dirty boy with worn-out clothes (Corvin), she gave him shelter and they started living together, through time they fell in love, Corvin is a thief and there are wanted posters about him, he “hides” in his own home, Ember is aware of this (partners in crime fr fr) and is casual about it despite her being a bounty hunter and Corvin being worth of a lot of gold (they are in love your honor)
She meet Layne 3 years ago, where they tried to kill a dragon who was actually a cursed girl turned into a dragon (Annie), while her curse didn't break the order managed to make her have a more humanoid form, Ember (illegally) adopted her and they've been a family ever since
