Einer had a unstable family, he inherent/developed his aggressiveness from them, he didn't have a good life and just like Erick he was taken away by Zalaph, his parents's whereabouts are unknown
Einer was made.. a living weapon to put it “mildly”, he was an aggressive child and Zalaph's mental abuse worsened things, they always praised Einer when he pushed himself so far until he couldn't take any more, telling him that they were proud of him, Einer fought and fought.. was he a victim? yes, were the people he hurted also victims? absolutely
He had a tense relationship with Lancelot at the start, he didn't trust him, Lancelot was the first person to treat him human (heh, “human”) and not like a tool, Einer trained with Lancelot and became his “master”, they bonded via combating (gay)
When Zalaph betrayed the humans and the demons, Erick stayed loyal to Zalaph, while Einer had his doubts, he secretly meet up with Lancelot and company to bring Zalaph down, they could only take Erick lol
As Einer had no family (plus Lancelot and Kara), the royal family took the three of them under their care, he gained the title of the dark knight
While he isn't as aggressive as he was before (he is pretty stoic now), he still isn't really forgiving and is still pretty violent
