The city of Mumbai, with its sprawling landscape of towering buildings and bustling streets, held within its heart a love story that had weathered storms and emerged stronger. Shivaay Singh Oberoi and Annika Shivaay Singh Oberoi were a testament to the power of love, both were individually successful in their careers-Shivaay as a renowned businessman and Annika as the proud owner of 'Shaira,' a flourishing event management company.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the city, Shivaay left his office, his mind filled with thoughts of returning home to the woman who had made his life complete. Meanwhile, Annika was wrapping up a successful event for 'Shaira,' sealing deals and creating memories for countless others.
Little did they know that their lives would be shaken by a force they hadn't anticipated.
As Shivaay's car navigated through the city streets, a shadowy figure watched from the sidelines. Mr. Saxena, a rival event planner, harbored a venomous hatred for Annika. She had effortlessly taken away numerous events from him, leaving his business in shambles. Blinded by rage and jealousy, he had devised a sinister plan to strike back at her.
Shivaay got confused at this sudden hindrance. "Why are we stopping? Is there a problem?"
The driver anxiously replied. "I' am not sure, sir. Something is blocking the road up ahead."
Unmarked cars with tinted windows slid into position, surrounding Shivaay's car. In the blink of an eye, masked men overpowered his security detail. Two masked men stepped out.
The first masked man said in a cold voice, "Shivaay Singh Oberoi, step out of the car."
Shivaay was alarmed. "Who are you? What's going on?"
Another masked man smirked. "You'll find out soon enough. Move!"
Shivaay was forced into another car and tires screeched as it sped away
Meanwhile, like she gets a sinking feeling when Shivaay is in danger, Annika was getting it again. She called him for the umpteenth time. She was still in her office and each passing second was making her even more nervous. She was now getting all the more frantic. Her erratic heartbeats refused to die down.
"Shivaay, where are you? Why aren't you answering?"
Just then, a voicenote from some unknown number reached her. Hurriedly, she opened it only to hear his deep masculine voice. But unlike the lovely voice she was used to hearing, this one was muffled, forced, and fearful.
"Annika, I... I don't know where I am. Something's happened. I love you."
Those words broke her. She collapsed on the ground with tears falling thick and fast. She was unconsciously trying to make her brain and heart believe the words, "No, no, this can't be happening! Shivaay!"
The news of Shivaay's disappearance struck Annika like a lightning bolt. Panic seized her heart as she dialed his number repeatedly, each unanswered call intensifying the fear that clawed at her insides. She rushed like lightning outside to make her way home.
The paradise, as he liked to call it was a nice little bungalow in the city's Juhu area. It was just the two of them, but for her, he was enough. He was more than enough. She couldn't imagine her life without him; here he was, disappeared, and was in a dire problem. She was hurrying to enter when she came across the entrance. She peered close enough and saw that it was a note. Fearfully, she picked it up to read its contents.
"Annika, my events, my business - you took everything. Now, it's time you feel the pain. Your beloved Shivaay is in my custody. And of course, I don't think of reminding you but you are my darling, so I will let you know. Do not inform the police. Otherwise, I will make sure that your dear husband's eyes will shut forever. Let the games begin." -Mr.Arjun Saxena
