Annika was exhausted after a long day at work. And honestly, she wasn't very enthusiastic to go back home. And the reason was her darling husband. He had been off to Canada for his new business venture and she couldn't accompany him. She had started her event management company recently and she just couldn't leave it and go. And now both of them were in different time zones. Given the time difference, they couldn't even talk much in the past few weeks. But now, she had to go home. She couldn't sit in her office cabin forever. Tiredly, she picked up her belongings and made her way to the car. It took her an hour to reach home given the crazy traffic at this time of the day. When she finally reached home, all she wanted to do was crash into her room and maybe even be able to talk to her Bagadbilla. But, she knew both these things were almost impossible. So she did the next best thing, she entered the living room and slumped onto the couch. She closed her eyes and suddenly opened them sensing some movement around her. She saw a glass of water in front of her and on her other side saw a glass of juice forwarded to her. She looked up saw her two devars looking at her innocently. Annika took both the glasses and looked at them with narrowed eyes. Their faces held too much innocence, as if it was pretentious. She had been living with Shivaay way too long and it took her no rocket science to understand that both her brothers in law had done something big. But, she decided to play along with them. She picked up both the glasses from the table and drank them and handed over those glasses back to them. They were. patiently waiting for her to finish and didn't even utter a single word all this while. Now Annika's suspicions were increasing. There was definitely something that they were hiding from her. Rudra's voice broke her out of her thoughts, "Bhabhi, now that you are a bit relaxed, please go and freshen up. We have made dinner specially for you, your favourite Aloo Puri."
Om also chipped in. "Yes Bhabhi, for dessert we have your favorite chocolate mousse. We know that you like it only made by Shivaay but we have tried making it. I am sure you will like. Come fast we will have dinner together. "
Annika was now completely sure that they were definitely up to something. It wasn't everyday that both of them cooked something that too without Shivaay and to top it all off, they had prepared her favourites .She decided to keep up with them and nodded her head at them. She got up and went towards her room to freshen up. She came down soon after and saw that the table was set and Om and Rudra were waiting for her. She also saw that Gauri and Bhavya were sitting at the dinner table chuckling to themselves. Bhavya asked her to sit and she obliged. After that what happened even she couldn't understand. A plate was kept in front of her. Aloo puri was served and her dinner plate was set even before she could bat an eyelid. She glared at them and ate her food silently. After the dinner, they both immediately took her plate and went in to bring the dessert. Annika now had enough. They bought it and were about to keep it in front of her when she stopped them midway. She got up and glared at them.
"What is the matter with both of you? Why are you both treating me like this? Is there something which you both have done? Or is there something that you want from me? Come on, spit it out. FAST. "
Both of them shut up their mouth and there was pin drop silence in the hall. Suddenly, Gauri and Bhavya's laugh was heard and it was too loud. Annika turned towards them and now her eyes were fixed on her two sisters.
"You seem to be laughing too much ever since we have sat for dinner. You know what had transpired in the house in my absence. So before I murder the four of you with my bare hands tell me what is the matter? "
Gauri and Bhavya did stop laughing and Bhavya spoke, "Bhabhi, ask your brothers only what the matter is? They will only tell you and what to do after that will completely be you choice. "
Annika heard her and again turned her gaze towards Om and Rudra. They both saw her eyes blazing fire and realised that now if none of them speak, they would be the targets of her fire. So gathering some courage, Rudra spoke, "Bhabhi, we will tell you the matter but not here. Come to your room. You will understand what we mean to say. "
