Blood. The only thing that coated the space the Umbreon inhabited was red, bright, flowing and fresh blood, of which he himself had spilled. Zero curled himself up into a ball, holding his knees to his chest in the hopes that this nightmare may end, but deep within the chambers of mind, he knows well enough that these nightmares only get worse. Suddenly a disgruntled and drowning voice calls out to him

???: You did this to us...

Then suddenly it started becoming steadier, more clear, more lethal

???: You killed us...

More and more voices began sounding throughout the bloody void, filling Zero with a near bottomless supply of guilt and suffering,

???: We had families Zero...lives. Yet still you stain your hands with our blood. Was it worth it Void Watcher? Was every last drop of the reward worth our lives?

Zero began to slowly lose his composure, before desperately trying to reason with the voices

Zero: Please...I had no other choice...I needed the money...

Then suddenly the voices, instead of their uncoordinated choir of slow yet piercing speech, conjoined their suffering and pain into one nightmarish amalgamation of pain,

???:YOU NEEDED TO KILL! YOU NEEDED NOT THE MONEY, NOR THE BENEFITS, ALL YOU SEEK WAS OUR BLOOD, AND IT IS ALL YOU WILL EVER NEED!

Zero began reaking down, revealing not the stoic and stern Umbreon that he thought he had become, no, instead he became the frightened, alone and scared child he truly was, the voices picking at him, ripping off the veil known as Zero, finally giving light to who the Umbreon really was. He was Zero no more, instead he was Zachary Ashen, a scared and young Pokémon, deprived of his right to live a normal life, and instead plunged into a life of secrets, blood and endless misery, stripping him of his excitable and cheery personality, and replacing with cold certainty and ruthlessness, a trademark for his alter personality, the one he created so long ago when he first became the Umbreon he was known as today, Zero. Zachary cried until he could no longer bare tears, simply wanting this to end, wanting to see the light again, wanting to be free again. Then suddenly he bared one more concern. He voiced it out in a shaky and tried tone

Zero: Crystal....

Then all of a sudden the voices died out, the blood dried and begun seeping into the blankness of the empty space he found himself in. In front of him, a steady and confident, yet at the same time calm, soothing and embracing icy light began emanating, before a voice then called out to him

Voice: Zero...?

The Umbreon looked forwards, directly into the light. Twas fierce and savage, yet it did not blind him, instead it welcomed him in it's cold embrace, brushing a wave of reassurance and calm unto the previously scared Umbreon, then another voice came, this time much louder and prominent

Voice: Zeeeroooooo...

He continued looking onwards, until finally he started seeing a figure, it's features clouded by the light, yet it's stature undeniably belonging to that of his friend. He began reaching out his hand in an attempt to reach for it, before suddenly he felt a tremor, along with a very loud call

Crystal: ZERO! WAKE UP, IT'S 9 IN THE MORNING! ARCEUS YOU'VE BEEN SCREAMING FOR THE PAST HOUR!

Suddenly the Umbreon jolted awake, dazed and confused, before he then looked to his right and saw Crystal pouting, visibly upset and distraught. Even if she was angry, she still could not hide the face of worry she wears for Zero.

Crystal: What kind of fucking nightmares do you have Zero? You were writhing and screaming and  shouting random gibberish! Are you okay?

The Glaceon berated the Umbreon, prompting Zero to reply in an exhausted and trembling voice
