What a year it was

"Captain Kaeya, It's almost the new years! Do you have any plans?"-Jean asked knocking on his office entering the room, "ah! Yes, I have a small plan for the new years, why?"-Kaeya asked looking up at Jean, "oh, no reason in particular just.. we were hosting a small event where everyone watches the fireworks under the cliff at Starsnatch cliff"-Jean, "I'd be happy to join then"-Kaeya, "uh- dont you have plans? I don't want to trouble you-"-Jean, "no. I'd love to attend."-Kaeya smiled, "alright, if you say so we meet up tonight at 10p.m got it? Hope to see you there!"-Jean waved as she left the room. Kaeya watched her leave the room as he smiled to himself

'a celebration with them sounds great before..'

Around 9:49p.m, Kaeya went back home showering and changing his clothes wearing very fancy clothes such as a white suit. Kaeya fixed his hair, making sure he was clean as he stared at himself at the mirror before suddenly punching it shattering the mirror in pieces. Blood stains were on Kaeyas knuckle as he stared at it for a while before cleaning it. After cleaning his wound, Kaeya walked over to the bedside table and stared at an old picture of him, Diluc and his father- no. Crepus.

"Maybe I'll see you soon, father."

Everyone was already there, Jean, Lisa, Amber and many others. Even Diluc was there, they were all waiting for Kaeya as he was running a little late. Around 10:28p.m, Kaeya finally arrived, "sorry for running late, I got caught up in some things.." Kaeya smiled laughing while gasping for air, "don't worry, it's fine!"-Jean assured, Kaeya then looked up and realised Diluc was there too. "My, if it isn't dear Master Diluc"-Kaeya teased putting his arms on his waist, "hmph. Kaeya I'm not dealing with your jokes today. It's almost new years and I don't want you to ruin it."-Diluc glared at Kaeya, "ahah, no worries you won't be annoyed by me anymore starting by the new years."-Kaeya smiled, "uh- hm."-Diluc huffed, what did Kaeya mean by that? "Now, now, let's brighten up the mood! Come on"-Lisa walked over to the booths the rest followed. They bought snacks, drinks, had talks and laughed. How it was all going so good.

"Hey, come on! We're doing the countdown soo!"-Amber dragged the others finding a beautiful spot near the ocean right under Starsnatch cliff with a great view, the others preparing and setting the fireworks. They all sat down hearing the countdown to 30 minutes. "Amber, there's still 30 more minutes, we didn't need to be this early you know?"-Eula laughed, "hey! It's better to be early, otherwise all the good spots are taken!"-Amber, "she's right"-Jean smiled as they all laughed.

"I'll miss you guys."-Kaeya muttered, "Did you say something?"-Diluc, "hm? No, nothing."-Kaeya smiled, "I'm. Gonna go grab something"-Kaeya said getting up, going somewhere. "Alright but be quick!"-Jean yelled after then continuing her conversion with Lisa.

Around 20 minutes had passed and Kaeya was still not back. "Uhm.. have you guys seen Kaeya? He's still not back"-Albedo looked around not seeing Kaeya anywhere, "oh! Your right.. it's been 20 minutes hasn't it? There's only 10 minutes left.. what's he doing?"-Amber too looked around trying to see where Kaeya was, "Klee last saw big brother Kaeya go up the cliff! I think he went up there!"-Klee, "ah, Master Diluc, could you go and get him?"-Jean asked, "and why should I be the one to get him?"-Diluc frowned, "Diluc go get him.."-Jean nudged his shoulder secretly wanting to show Diluc his responsibility as the 'older brother' "*sigh* Knights of Favonious always so inefficient."-Diluc gave in and went to go fetch Kaeya. Jean smiled as she sat back down, "so, what's your plan Jean? Trying to help them bond together?"-Lisa, "a- I don't know what your talking about"-Jean hid her face in embarrassment, "*chuckle* dont worry, we all know"-Lisa chuckled.
