Part 1, The Return.

It's been a long... Few months. Lumines been gone, and Xiao's been protecting Liyue from demons. Then suddenly:

"XIAO. XIAOOO!!! I GOT NEWS!!!"

"...What is it Hu Tao, I'm kind of busy."

"LUMINE IS COMING BACK!!! SHE FINISHED HER MISSION!!!"

Xiao froze in his tracks. And looked at Hu Tao.

"...She's okay??"

"Yes! She's on her way back!! Right now!!"

"...Thank the Archons. I was worried."

Xiao teleports too the wangshu inn, trying too prepare a room for Lumine... Like he always does when Lumine is out on missions for so long.

After about a hour. Xiao gets a room ready, cleaned, and protected with Adepti powers.

"There... Just the way Lumine likes it."

Xiao walks out the room too the balcony. Then climbs up onto the roof too watch for Lumine.

After what feels like a eternity. Xiao finally sees his Girlfriend walking towards the inn.

"...Finally..."

Xiao hopped off the roof, and instantly teleported too Lumine... And... Could tell... Something was wrong.

"Lumine... Are you okay?"

"...Don't talk too me."

"...sorry...? Did... I do something wrong?"

Lumine ignores Xiao's question... And just walks too the Wangshu Inn.

Xiao, Questioning if he did something wrong... Is now left questioning everything. Did he somehow hurt Lumine...? His mood dropped immediately. And he teleported back too the roof so Lumine would be alone.

"...What did I do? I don't understand..."

Suddenly... There was a loud crash... In... Lumine's  room. Causing Xiao too teleport into her room immediately... Just too see Lumine messing up everything... He did...

"...Lumine... What are you doing?"

"WHAT THE HELL IS ALL THIS SHIT XIAO. I TOLD YOU NOT TOO TOUCH MY ROOM WHILE I WAS AWAY!!!"

"...I only cleaned it up for you..."

"WHEN I TOLD YOU NOT TOO TOUCH MY STUFF?!"

"...I'm sorry? I just... Wanted too be nice..."

"I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ON WHAT YOU WANTED."

Xiao took Lumine's words like a knife in his heart. And just teleported away too Jaeyun Karst. He sat on a cliff and stared downwards. Just questioning what he did wrong... He felt bad... He was blaming himself...

Finally. After a few hours... Lumine calls out for Xiao. Her voice a whisper. Yet. He immediately teleported too her.

"Lumine??"

"Shush. Xiao. Just lay down. Okay?! I'm tired of you being Emo!!"

"...Right... Sorry..."

Xiao took off most his layers other then his shirt and pants. Then laid beside Lumine. Not touching her... Or anything... Even though he usually cuddles.

"...Tch. Stop being a emo and sleep. No cuddles at all tonight..."

"...Right... Goodnight... Lumine..."
