CHAPTER ELEVEN
April P.O.V.
After a pretty rough Monday, I started walking home.
I liked walking home in the spring. All the flowers began to bloom with my favorite colors, purple and pink. The way the sun beat down on my face made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Which was a nice, secure feeling after I nearly got raped over the weekend.
My mind began to trail off, as I kept a steady pace with my feet as they met the ground.
After about five minutes of day dreaming about what Taylor Lautner looks like completely naked, I heard a car come up behind me. Music blaring, people yelling.
I look behind me to see the number one person on my hate list right about now, Lucas. Along with Haley and all his jock friends.
The car slowed down to my speed, as I continued to walk, ignoring them as they pulled the car up beside me.
"Well well well," Haley said. "Isn't it the little slut that can't keep her hands off anyone? I mean, you just broke up with Lucas and you're already at it again. You just can't keep your hands off guys, can you?" She smirked, and everyone laughed.
"I think you should ask yourself the same question." I said back in the bitchiest tone I had. "Bye."
With this, I continued walking home. I heard them all go silent in disbelief. Then they pulled away, and sped off. Leaving a trail of smoke behind due to the amount of pressure Lucas must have put on the pedal.
After a minute of so, I started down my road. About halfway, I heard another car come up behind me. I kept my eyes on the ground, no wanting to deal with their shit anymore.
"GOD GUYS! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" I yelled, turning to the car. And scared myself at the fact that it was not who I thought it was.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Dean! I thought you were Lucas and everyone again.." I said, ashamed.
"What do you mean again?" He asked me.
"They stopped a couple minutes ago and talked to me." I said back to Dean's caring, whole-hearted face.
"Get in April, I'll take you the rest of the way home." Dean said, leaning over, and opening the passenger side door. I threw my bag up, and jumped in.
I just sat looking out the window, thinking about what had happened over these couple days. Then finally understanding how fast this was actually moving. I met Dean Friday. Lost my virginity to him within hours, and how he's driving me around like I'm all his.
He must have noticed my presence drift in thought, because he brought me back to reality when he inter-twinned his fingers with mine.
When we pulled into his driveway, I grabbed my bag, and headed towards my house. But then I stopped myself and turned to face Dean.
"I'll see you later." I said, he was already standing their, waiting for me to say something.
"Yeah." He said with a smile. I could still feel his eyes on me as I walked away.
As I entered my house, I found my brother planted in front of the TV with a bag of potato chips. Typical Travis.
OH EM GEE THAT RHYMED!
I walked past him, and 'accidentally' hit him in the head with my bag.
I turned around to see his expression, but all I got in return was a big, gross, burp.
Ew.
I made my way up to my room, and noticed I was not as tired as I usually was due to the over amount of sleep I got last night. I stood for a moment, finally deciding not to sit in my room for the rest of the night. Instead, I decided to go for a jog.
