CHAPTER SEVEN
We took the exit for the mall.
The whole ride, Carly was starring out the window. Casual Carly. Number one day dreamer I know.
I was somewhat in my own world as well, except mine was a music video. I'm sure I'm not the only person that feels like their life is a video when they listen to music.
When I'm listening to Timeflies, no one bother me. I'm in my fucking zone.
The next thing i know, i'm singing to myself. Oh great.
"Yeah I don't need a game plan, i rock the club like a mutha fuckin' cave man!" I screamed as loud as i could, while resting my arm out of the window.
The wind rushed around my arm. If you think about it, it's funny how i it doesn't grow right through you.
Never mind, that's weird.
Ignore that.
All of the sudden i heard someone laughing. "Are you okay?" Carly managed to squeak out between laughs.
"Yeah, why would i be..?" I asked confused.
"The wind going through your arm?" She asked, laughing still.
"Shit! That was out loud?!" I asked, beginning to laugh as well.
We approached the mall parking lot, when i followed Dean's truck. He pulled into a parking space close to the left entrance, there were no one's close to him, so we went in the next row in about the middle of the row.
I turned off the ignition and grabbed my lanyard that had my keys on it. I also grabbed my wristlet.
I can NOT carry around a purse.
I mean, not one of those flashy, leopard, girlie ones. I like basic ones.
And that would be all.
And if i don't need a purse, i carry around a Coach wristlet that has my credit cards, ID, and money. And the occasional tampon if needed.
Carly jumps out of the car and shuts the door, then walks to the front of my white car and leans on it.
I double check to make sure I have everything i need, then shut the door and clicked the lock button on my clicker.
I dunno what you would call it.
We'll go with clicker.
Carly and I then begin walking towards the entrance. When we reach the end of the row, we merge with the boys.
Carly then latches hands with Gavin and walk in front of Dean and I.
Holy awkward.
I could tell Dean was looking at me.I felt his eyes piercing through my skin. Without even looking, i instinctively said "Can you not stare at me? Please and Thank you."
Holy bitch. Whatever, at least it will keep him away from me. Boys are too much trouble right about now with the whole Lucas situation and such.
"I was just gonna tell you that you looked beautiful, which you do." He said with a smirk.
God damn, he was so cute.
Stand your ground April, Stand it.
"Thanks, but I don't need you to tell me." I threw back at him. He looked shocked and had to think of what to say for a moment. Probably processing what just happened because girls usually go along with his compliments.
