A group of cloaked figures floated around a table.

"After years, we've finally gotten ready." The leader said, "We have learned everything we could, found the locations, and are ready to eliminate the Titans."

"The strongest spends most of its time in another planet." Another said, "This one called... Earth. It's the strongest, if we eliminate it first, then the rest will be no match."

"But we must be ready, even the young ones are strong." Another said, "This one is surely no different. If we aren't truly prepared... it could destroy us."

-On the Boiling Isles-

"Ms. Noceda!" A teacher said, making Luz lift her head off the table, "I am aware you are one of the Titans, and we are only a few weeks away from graduation, but I still do not accept sleeping in my class!"

"Sorry." Luz said, sheepishly.

"Woah, 17 and still as awkward as you were when you were 14." Boscha said.

"Oh shut it." Luz said.

"How about you keep your eyes open long enough to help me finish this potion?" She asked.

"Yeah, yeah, sure Boscha." Luz said before yawning, rolling her neck. "So what's the next ingredient?"

"Petrified newt tail." Boscha said.

The mere word Petrified made Luz shudder.

"Hate that word." Luz said, "I was almost petrified by him once... ugh, terrifying."

"Yikes, even a kid? That fucker really had NO limit in his "justice. Wish you killed him sooner." Boscha said as she handed Luz the petrified newt tail.

"Speaking of, did you see the shirts they made a couple years ago?" Luz asked.

"With you punching a hole through that bastards heart? Hell yeah I did, Mel bought me one last year." Boscha said, "Mind autographing it?"

"Why did I know you would say that?" Luz said with a grin, putting the tail in and stirring the cauldron. "Sure. I can sign it after school if you don't have it on you now."

Boscha smirked a bit before getting a serious look.

"Luz... can I ask you something?" She asked.

"What is it?" Luz replied.

Boscha looked to make sure no one is looking and pulled out a small box. She opened it, revealing a gold band with a green gem in it.

"Think Amelia will like it?" Boscha asked.

"Is that a-"

"Yep." Boscha said, "I'm going to ask her to marry me at the dance a week before graduation."

"Are you sure you're ready for it?" Luz asked.

"More than ready. And I think I should ask you the same. Don't think I can't guess what you think about most times." Boscha said, having their friendship grown over the past few years. "Besides, by the time I propose, we'll both be 18, so it'll be perfect. You're still coming to my birthday this Saturday, right?"

"Yep, and Amelia's the following Monday." Luz said, "Now put that ring somewhere safe, we have a potion to work on, and I want to get this done and get out of here."

It was the last class of the day, and Luz was itching to spread her wings.

Boscha was too as she put the ring away and focused back on their project.

"So, has Cat gotten a new letter from Skara lately?" Boscha asked.

"Not lately, but she did say that Skara was doing good according to the last letter she sent." Luz said, "Long distance relationships don't usually work, but they have it figured out."

"I don't know how it couldn't. Magic makes long distance relationships more stable than human technology. Like potions that link your dreams with your lover so they can spent time together when they sleep." Boscha said.

"Yeah but... Skara's been really secretive about everything on the other Titan." Luz said, "I feel like she's hiding something."

"Maybe she has a good reason? I mean she is technically your sister now, maybe she wants to surprise you for when she gets back. Like with a gift or something." Boscha said, adding some blue liquid to the cauldron.

"I just hope she isn't involved in something bad." Luz said.

Elsewhere, a person in a black mask walked onto a boat and told the crew one thing.

"Ofus shicka mik isha mock." They said, which translate to... Set course for the Boiling Isles, "It's time to end this."
