At the movie theater in Bonesborugh, Hunter and Willow were walking out while holding hands.
"That... was the worst movie I've ever seen." Willow said blankly.
"I know. I mean, I thought the title would've made it sound good but it was SO horrible." Hunter said, shaking his head.
"Hey, why don't we go home and try and make a happy ending out of this night?" Willow suggested.
"How happy do you want it?" Hunter asked with a grin.
"Don't tempt me, Hunny-Bunny." Willow said, grinning back.
They were about to kiss, when they heard the sound of a blade coming out.
On instinct, Hunter teleported them away as a Titan Trapper tried to slash at them!
"Drat! Accursed titans!" She said, holding a sword.
"Even on date night we can't help but run into trouble." Willow said, breathing out frustration.
"Then I guess we'll have to deal with it." Hunter said.
They looked at the trapper... before they were suddenly covered in vines. Surprised, Hunter looked at Willow.
"That... wasn't me." Willow said, shaking her head.
The trapper was then slammed to the side, revealing one of the resident humans of the Isles, Tracey.
Former cheerleader and bully, now proud scholar of Wild Magic University.
Her hair was longer and kept in a ponytail with the same pink streak down the middle. She was as tall as Luz, a body build similar to Amity and wearing a blue tank top, baggy green pants, and black flats. Her scars from her past possession were faded but felt no shame in them anymore.
In her right hand was her trust palisman, Goose Willis, in staff form.
"Hey, Willow." Tracey said before pointing at the trapper, "Any reason these people are all over the Isles? They've been attacking Masha and I for some reason."
"I don't kn-" Willow felt her scroll vibrate, making her pull it out as she got a message from Gus.
'Amity and Luz were attacked by Titan Trappers. They're on the Isles and hunting for us, get to the owl house by 5pm.' -Gus.
"Well, that explains why they're here... not so much as to why they're attacking two humans." Willow said.
"Maybe they know that we know them?" Hunter asked.
"Or maybe they hate humans like a bunch of racists." Tracey said before waving her staff, bringing the Trapper back to her. "Maybe we can get some questions out of this one before we head to the owl house."
"You disgusting humans, always helping these monsters!" The trapper said before she spat at Tracey's feet.
The three looked at each other before nodding.
"Luz." They all said, knowing exactly why they hate humans.
And it must've really added wood to the flames after they found out Luz became a Titan and "defeated" the Collector.
"Once again... Luz is a walking disaster." Tracey said, before waving her hand and sending the trapper flying.
"Yep but we've accepted that. Either way, we should get to the owl house and plan on what to do next." Hunter said before his stomach growled. "We can stop for take out along the way."
Hearing this, Willow's stomach also growled as she nodded in agreement. Making Tracey sigh as she leaned against her staff.
"I'm very jealous by the way. You guys can eat dozens of pounds of food and still not gain weight." Tracey said.
"Hey, that's not entirely truth. I was kind of husky a few years ago." Willow said, patting her bow athletic stomach.
"Don't play that card with me. I learned that witches have a stronger metabolism than humans do because of their bile sack." Tracey said before standing up straight. "Now come on... these trapper fuckers ruined my dinner, so now I'm mad. Do you have any idea how hard it is being a vegetarian in a place where a plants can eat you!?"
"I do but look on the bright side." Willow said.
"What bright side?" Tracey asked.
"You can make your own plants to eat." Willow said.
The plant Tracey summoned began to shake, making her hold the vine close and pat it.
"It's okay, Jasper, I would never eat you." Tracey said.
The vine groaned as it moved over, "nuzzling" Tracey's cheek a bit.
Yes, that's right, she has a pet vine. Her connection to plant magic was so strong, she could actually speak with them. In a way plant magic witches like Willow couldn't.
"Okay, let's get going, because this seems like it's important." Hunter said.
"By the amount of texts Gus sent us during the movie, it is." Willow said, looking over the texts.
"I'll let Vee and Masha know so they can head over too." Tracey said as Goose Willis turned into a palisman and sat on her shoulder.
"Honk." Goose Willis honked.
Tracey smiled as she scratched his chin.
"You're a good boy." She said.
Hunter nodded in approval, being a bird lover himself.
"Alright, let's go." Tracey said, using her staff to float off the ground.
Willow summoned Clover and made her into a staff.
"Need a lift?" She asked Hunter.
"Naw, I'm good." Hunter said before summoning a new palisman he made in memory of Flapjack.
A Blue Jay with orange eyes.
"Come on, Waffles." Hunter said, "Let's go."
"Waffles? You named her "Waffles?"" Tracey asked before giggling. "You do know she's named after a breakfast food right?"
"Yep. I know and I don't regret it." Hunter said with a smile.
He didn't care what anyone thought. And Flapjack's spirit, which still resides within Hunter, loved his little sister's name.
The trio took to the air and flew towards the Owl House. Along the way, Tracey did what she promised and quickly sent a text to her cousin about the situation in the Isles.
'Get to the owl house, Titan Trapper emergency.' She texted Masha.
'Yeah, I know! Those fucking bastards are ruining the plans Vee and I have!' Masha texted.
'What sort of plans?' Tracey texted.
'The perfect date! A movie, walk in the park, restaurant; the works! All of it down the damn drain and into the boiling sea!' Masha texted with an angry face emoji.
'Okay, they are NOT happy about this.' Tracey thought, before she put her phone away and continued to the Owl House.
