Donna knows something is wrong. She knows that her son's marriage is not as happy as he and Harmony want everyone to believe. She can see it in Harmony's eyes, the light that once was there is now long gone. What she doesn't know is what has happened between them, but she is determined to find out.

At first, she had tried through her usual methods. She asked the few trusted servants and guards she had, and that she was sure wouldn't share whatever information they had with anyone else, if they knew what had happened, but either they truly didn't know or they were trying to protect Harmony. She has to admit, she admires the way Harmony has inspired the loyalty and love of those who serve them.

Now she is left with just one option. She has to go straight to the source. She has searched the Castle for Harmony, and she's about to go talk to Jensen instead, when she decides to check the old tower. She remembers Justice saying something about how Harmony liked to go to the tower to think, so that's where she will look for her last. If she's not there, then she will be having a talk with her son.

As Donna climbs the last steps at the top of the tower, she sees Harmony sitting on the small window seat, the window open, and notices the defeat and sadness in the young woman's face. Whatever has happened between her and Jensen had to be bad enough for her to look like that.

-"I see the tower is still being put to use. I used to come here to clear my head when I was married. It always gave me a sense of peace and clarity." - Donna tells her, surprising Harmony, as she walks up to her and sits on the seat across from her. -"Do you want to talk about what's going on in that head of yours?"

-"Where do you want me to begin? Do you want me to tell you how I caught your son having sex with Lady Teagan in his study? Or do you want me to tell you how he just told me that Lady Teagan is pregnant? Where should I begin?" - Harmony says, sadness in her voice.

-"Wait, what? Jensen did what?"

-"I had just been told by the physician that it was safe for us to try again for an heir, and went to his study to tell him and to apologize for pushing him away, when I found him having sex with her. I should've listened to the guard when he told me I didn't want to go inside."

-"The guard tried warning you?"

-"He did. And I should've guessed something like that was going to be what I would find, just by the way the guard looked at me, with sorrow and regret in his eyes. Still, I went inside and... Well, you know the rest."

-"I'm going to have a serious talk with my son. He had no right in doing that to you. You were hurting and he goes and does that? That is not the Jensen I know."

-"Please don't. The last thing I want is for your relationship with him to get strained because of me."

-"Don't worry about that. And you said that Lady Teagan is pregnant?"

-"Yes. He told me a little while ago. He actually apologized for that, if you can believe it. As if him apologizing would make everything alright."

-"What are you going to do now?"

-"Well, it's pretty clear that our marriage is over, so I'll do my duty as his wife and try to provide him with an heir. As soon as that is done, I'll just be his Queen, not his wife. If he wants to be with Lady Teagan, then he can have her, I'm not gonna stop him, specially not now that there's a child on the way. It's obvious that his heart wants her, not me." - She sighs. -"He broke the one promise I asked of him when he asked me to marry him, that is something I just can't forgive that easily."

-"I... Harmony, honestly, I think that you are being too good and selfless by doing that. You know that it's okay to be selfish sometimes and fight for what you want, right?"

-"I'm done fighting, Donna. I don't have any fight left in me."

-"There's always a little bit of fight left, all you have to do is find it."

Donna holds her hand and squeezes it, trying to reassure the young woman across from her that it's okay and that she is there for her. She sees Harmony looking back out the window, a tear sliding down her cheek, and decides this is a good time to leave her to her thoughts.

Leaving the tower, Donna can't help but be angry with her son. Betraying Harmony like that, at a time when she needed him the most, it made her angry beyond belief. And yet, part of her could understand why he did it.

For months, Harmony had pushed him away. Granted that she was hurting and grieving the loss of their child, but so was he. He needed her, and all he had received in return was her refusing to even seeing him, let alone talk to him.

Still, that doesn't excuse what he had done, and that is why Donna is so angry with him. If things had gotten that bad, to the point where he considered cheating on Harmony, he should've come to her for help.

Donna thought he was better than that, better than most men in Court and in their own family. For him to stoop that low, it hurt Donna just as much as it hurt Harmony. And to make matters worse, now there's a child on the way. A child that, in all likelihood, Jensen will claim as his and hurt Harmony even more than she already is.

How did things got so messed up? Donna knows how, and when, and she wishes that she could turn back the clock and make things right, for all their sake. Donna is certain that this isn't going to be the end of it, she can feel that there's more hurt coming. She just hopes that she is wrong. "Please, Lord, let me be wrong."
