Harmony rides Moonlight day and night, stopping just a couple of hours here and there, just so they can both rest. Harmony never thought she would be doing this, venturing on the dirt roads without any sort of protection, and yet, there she is. "I must be out of my mind.", she thinks as she gets back on Moonlight's saddle after another stop.

Her trip ends a few days later, on the edge of a small village, just as night begins to fall. But that's not where her mission ends, there is where it truly begins. She finds a place where she can hide Moonlight and change clothes, the ones she is wearing being a dead giveaway of who she is.

Harmony changed into simple clothes, trying to pass off as a peasant, and keeps her head down, staying in the shadows, as she walks through the village, so not to risk being recognized, headed for the nearby estate home.

It doesn't take much for her to be able to get access to the estate, an unlocked back gate the perfect way in. She searches for an entrance to the house itself, and is suddenly face to face with one of the servants.

The servant recognizes her, giving her a small bow, and leads her inside through the kitchen. He knows why she is there, and before she leaves the kitchen, he hands her a skeleton key, simply saying that she will need it.

Harmony needs to get to the upper floor, where the bedrooms are located, but that means having to go through most of the ground floor. Thankfully, she knows every inch of that house. Moving as silently as she can, she stays in the shadows, checking every door that lead to the empty rooms she passes so she can have some place to hide, just in case.

As she nears the living room, only one door is open. "Perfect.", she thinks, knowing that, with just one door being open, it will give her a better chance at staying hidden. But as she slowly walks past the living room, she hears someone speaking, voice dripping with disdain.

Fergus's voice hits Harmony as an iceberg, making her shiver. He is talking to someone, someone she can not see, telling them that as long as he has Elise, he can make Harmony do whatever he wants. He mocks her love for Elise, her father and the unknown person laughing at that, and it takes everything in Harmony not to burst into the room and give her father a piece of her mind.

Her father's voice is heard again, and what he says next almost makes Harmony throw up.

-"I was hoping that the rebels that were sent had been able to achieve their goal, that way I wouldn't have to use my little leverage so soon." - He sighs. -"No matter. I will do whatever needs done to teach my traitor of a daughter and her husband a lesson."

It takes a few seconds for Harmony to fully understand what her father meant by that, but when she does, she needs to take deep breaths to calm herself. She is dangerously close to losing her mind and kill her own father.

Refocusing on the task at hand, she makes her way to the upper floor, knowing that once she is back at the Castle, she will make sure her father pays for what he has done. The only thing worrying her is Jensen's reaction, but she can worry about that later.

It isn't hard for Harmony to find Elise's room. She takes the skeleton key and opens the door, the darkness of the room making it difficult for her to see anything. Taking a few seconds so her eyes can adjust, she can hear whimpering coming from a corner of the room.

She looks over and can barely recognize her own sister. The usually bubbly, friendly and smiling Elise, is now cowering in a corner, her head down onto her knees, almost as if expecting to be hit. Harmony carefully calls out to Elise, telling her that it's her, not wanting to scare the young woman even more.

Elise lifts her head, and upon seeing Harmony, stands up and runs to her, tears tracking down her cheeks. Harmony holds her tight, shocked at her sister's condition. There are bruises on her face, as well as arms and legs, and her clothes are torned.

Swallowing the lump in her throat, Harmony tells Elise they don't have a lot of time and that she is getting her out of there. Elise nods and cleans the tears from her face, following Harmony out of her room as quietly as possible.

Somehow, the two sisters make their way through the house undetected and reach the kitchen. But before they leave, the servant that had helped Harmony hands them a small bag with food and wishes them luck. Harmony thanks him and leads Elise away from what once was their home.

It isn't until they are on Moonlight's saddle, ridding away from the village, that Harmony is able to properly breath again. As they ride as fast as Moonlight can carry them, Harmony prays that her father won't notice Elise's missing until the following morning, given them a decent head start.
