The two women were screaming at the top of their lungs through the door. Still, they heard nothing on the other side.
"Kate! Open the door!." JJ yelled as she tried the handle once more knowing it would not budge. She ran downstairs as Penelope kept screaming and hitting the door.
"Move!" JJ instructed to Garcia.
Penelope jumped out of the way. JJ had taken the fire poker from downstairs and broke the knob off the door. The door opened and both blondes walked in the room.
"Kate!" JJ yelled out as she saw Kate on the ground.
Kate was lying on the ground covered in her own blood and unconscious.
Garcia froze at the scene. JJ ran right over to Kate to try and find a pulse.
*At the BAU*
Emily's POV
Emily received a call early in the morning from Aaron Hotchner telling her there was a case and that she needed to get to the BAU as soon as possible. Emily entered the round table room to find everyone already seated and waiting on her. She noticed something was off. JJ and Kate were not in the room.
"Where's JJ and Kate?" She asked.
Everyone looked around at each other almost as if they were deciding who should speak. It was Hotch.
"We can't get a hold of either of them." he stated.
"What, what do you mean you can't get a hold of them?!" Emily demanding half yelling.
"Don't worry Emily, we're on it." He said so that the brunette would settle down.
Emily sat back down in her chair and they started briefing on the case. Since JJ was not there Garcia presented the case to the rest of the team.
"Alright, 4 girls all within the area have gone missing and all turned up dead 2 days later. The last victim, Vicky Brown was found yesterday evening she was only 13." Garcia stated as she flipped through the pictures.
Hotch then stood up to tell the agents some very important news.
"These girls all look very similar. Similar to someone we know. Meg Callahan. Chris called this morning and told me that Meg was missing and he couldn't reach Kate. Since all 5 girls look alike and fit his victim pattern we have to assume that Meg was taken by the same unsub." Hotch said as he stared down at his watch.
"We have 2 days to find her so let's go."
He said as he followed the rest of the agents out the door.
