You laid in your bed crying. It had been a week since Taylor had broken up with you and you were absolutely devastated. You didn't know how she could do this to you. You thought she loved you. Since not a lot of people knew, there was a Christmas party that you were both invited to but you didn't know each other were gonna be there.
You were having a great time with your friends when you heard a familiar laugh. It was Taylor. She sounded so happy. You stared at her for a second before running to a bench sitting near a bathroom. You just sat there sadly, trying not to cry. "Are you in line for the bathroom?"
You looked up to find that it was Taylor who asked you. "Oh n-no I'm just-" you stuttered. You felt so stupid in that moment. Your cheeks turned bright red. You tried to get up but Taylor called you back.
"Y/N! Can I talk to you?"
"Um sure" you fiddled with your fingers as you followed her upstairs into your friend's bathroom.
"I'm sorry" she said.
"Taylor! Why did you do this to me? I loved you!" you fought back as tears stung your eyes.
"I didn't mean to! I guess I was scared that you were going to leave me because of my schedule" she started to cry as well.
"Taylor! You know I would never leave you, but you made that decision and there's nothing more I can do but accept that!" you cried as you stormed towards the door.
"No! Wait! Please!"
"I'm so sorry Y/N! I thought you would leave me because that's what people did to me before, but I promise I know that you're better than that. I know I'm a fool and I never should have done this to you. But I miss you Y/N!"
You couldn't resist that.
"To be honest," you sighed, "I've missed you more than anyone. You made me so happy and you're just so perfect. I don't know why someone would leave you for a dumb reason like that an-"
Taylor shut you up with a kiss. "I'm really sorry Y/N, but I want you to know that I trust you and I still love you!"
"I love you too" you kissed her.
"Let's go!" she grabbed your hand you ran back down stairs with her and shared drinks with her. Your friends smiled as they saw how happy you were together.
