This was you and Taylor's first Valentine's Day together. You were pretty active on TikTok and you saw someone make a Valentine's Day gift basket, so you were going to make one for Taylor.
You got in your car and turned on "Lover" Your fingers tapped to the beat on the wheel as you drove to Target. You wore sunglasses and one of Taylor's cardigans.
It was a week day so most people were at work, which came to your advantage.
You found a cute, white woven basket and put it in your cart, a purple fuzzy blanket and you knew Taylor would love it. Then you went to the mugs and found one with a cat on it. You smiled knowing that Taylor would love everything that you gave her.
You got to the self-checkout and got some of her favorite candies. Once you got home, you started working on your letter to her. You pulled a lined piece of paper from a drawer in Taylor's home studio. You wrote:
"Dear Taylor,
From the moment I met you, I knew that I loved you. I love everything from your beautiful, blonde hair, to your twinkling blue eyes. I also love your talent and commitment to it. The way you perform on stage makes me fall even more in love with you. I love how you love your fans like family. It's truly amazing. I'll never stop loving you, Taylor. Happy Valentine's Day, my love!"
You smiled when you finished it. You folded it up and put it into a pink envelope and sealed it with a heart sticker. You played with the cats for the rest of the afternoon until Taylor came home.
THE NEXT DAY...
You woke up in Taylor's arms. "Happy Valentine's Day!" You kissed her forehead as she woke up.
"Happy Valentine's Day, Y/N/N!" Taylor smiled, putting her hand on your thigh.
You both got ready and went downstairs to eat. She made you your favorite food.
"Thank you, Tay" you smiled, taking the plate from her hands.
"Anything for you" she winked, making you smile. You gave Taylor her basked at she loved it. She also got you another present. It was a personalized teddy bear holding a heart with "Taylor" on it.
For your first activity of the day, you went to a secret beach that was pretty much empty, but beautiful. "I love going to the beach with you" Taylor kissed you as you sat down on the beach towel.
"I'm so glad that you're mine" you smiled, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear, before kissing her again. "Let's go in the ocean!" You grabbed Taylor's hand and you both ran down the beach.
Then, you went back to your towel to eat lunch. You packed sandwiches and Brownies for dessert. "This is such a lovely day" Taylor smiled.
"It sure is"
After you finished at the beach, you both got ready for a fancy dinner date.
"Wow" your eyes widened as you looked at Taylor in her dress. "You look gorgeous" you pulled her into you and kissed her.
"You do too" she winked.
After you ate your dinner and were eating dessert, you said "I have one last gift for you"
"I do too!" Taylor chuckled.
You pulled out a necklace with the first letter of your name on it. Taylor then pulled out one with a "T" on it and you exchanged.
"I love it!" Taylor smiled.
"I love mine too! Thank you!" You replied.
"Of course. And thank you" Taylor giggled again.
"I love you so much baby. Happy Valentine's Day!" Taylor kissed you once more.
"Happy Valentine's Day!" You kissed her back, smiling.
