You and Taylor were at an award show for both of your new movies. You had already gotten a few awards and now it was Taylor's turn. Taylor walked up the stage to get her award. She smiled brightly, looking at you the whole time, but before she could even say a word, the announcer made a horrible joke. "You're lucky you have so many awards or Y/N wouldn't even be with you"
Taylor looked mortified as everyone started booing the announcer. Your jaw clenched as you death stared the man with a look of pure anger. You knew this would probably ruin your reputation but that didn't matter. Taylor was more important. You set down your purse and walked up onto the stage. Tree watched you and whispered to your publicist.
"Excuse me sir" you cleared your throat. He gave you a sarcastic grin.
"Don't you ever talk about me or my wife again! She is my soulmate and I love her so much. I would be there front row even if NOBODY came to her shows" (I forgot that you existed reference hehe)
"So no, even though I'm extremely proud of Taylor, I don't care how many awards she has"
The crowd started cheering for you and Taylor ran over and hugged you. "Thank you, baby but you didn't have to do that" she whispered, looking into your eyes.
"Yes I did. I wanted to make sure that you knew that I love you" you replied.
Taylor grabbed her award and you both walked hand in hand off the stage. Tree and Clara, your publicist both shook their heads, slightly smiling though.
After the award show, the altercation spread through the internet like a wildfire.
