You stared at Taylor while she stared at the water in front of you. You and Taylor had been friends practically your whole life, and that friendship continued into your young adulthood. You and Taylor were at the beach today since no one was there.
You admired her side profile and how her soft hair blew in the wind. Your heart immediately started beating faster. "DING" you and Taylor both looked over at your phone.
"Can you see who it is?" you asked since she was closer to it.
"Y/N..." she smirked.
"What?!" you asked worriedly.
"I'm your Lock Screen?!"
"Well I u-um— yeah" you smiled bashfully. Taylor just smiled and you took a deep breath, ready to reveal your crush.
"It's hard not to look at you" you tucked your hair behind your ear.
"Really?" she breathed out.
"Taylor?" you asked.
"Yeah?" she tilted her head
"I like you. Actually no- I love you. I've loved you ever since we were younger because you're so kind and smart and funny and you're so beautiful, it's hard to breathe when I see you"
"Wow" Taylor whispered, "I love you too"
Then, she leaned in and kissed you. It was like you could feel the sparks flying in that moment. It felt like you were the only ones in the world.
