Chapter 13

So let's get started...

Later around 9 AM, Meera shakes Vihan to wake him up, needing to wake Veer as well.

M: "Vihan ji, wake up... look at the time—it's already 9. Please wake up now."

V: "Meera, what has gotten into you, baba? Every time I finally get some deep sleep, you wake me up..."

Meera gasps at his words and shakes him more, which results in him sitting up on the bed with a grumpy face. She giggles softly but then makes a blank face and replies seriously "Vihan ji... look at the time—9 AM! And if someone sees me in your room like this, what will they think?"

Vihan sits up, and saw her placing Veer on his small attached bed. He looks at her, slightly irritated but still smiling.

V: "First of all, who will dare to say a word against you, and you think I'll let them—there's nothing to be scared of."

Meera eyes him and gets up from the bed, informing him that she will come to wake Veer after freshening up. Vihan nods in agreement. She exits his room, and Vihan lays back down with a small smile, wrapping his arms around Veer.

Later... around 11 AM, after getting ready in a maroon saree, her hair is loosely tied and her milky neck is visibly glowing in the maroon color. She moves into the living room to find breakfast already made and Veer's mashed food prepared. Greeting Gayatri , who smile mischievously at her, she nods and tells them she will come after freshening up Veer.

Gayatri: "How did you sleep last night, Meera?" she asks with a knowing smile.

Meera nods, avoiding their eyes. "I... I slept well, thank you."

G: "Hmm, looks like someone was quite cozy last night," Gayatri teases, her eyes glinting mischievously.

Meera's eyes widen and she stutters out, "I—um... It was just... Veer cried, and... I had to..."

Gayatri chuckles softly, seeing Meera's panicked reaction. "Meera, I was just kidding with you. Don't worry, I know what happened. You don't have to explain, and I don't mind. Feel comfortable, okay?"

Meera nods quickly, still flustered. "Okay, okay, I'll keep that in mind."

Gayatri : "Good. Now go to Veer, don't keep him waiting," she says, her tone gentle and reassuring. "We'll see you both in a bit."

Meera nods and exits the room, relieved to leave the teasing behind.

On the other hand, Vihan is awake, just lying with his eyes closed. When Meera enters his room, he pretends to sleep. Meera walks in with silent steps, breathing a sigh of relief when she sees him still asleep. She looks towards Veer and smiles, seeing him sleeping with his cute small butts in the air. "He's so adorable," she thinks.

She sits near Veer and slowly caresses his back. Feeling her near him, he places his head in her lap in sleep. Meera chuckles softly, and Vihan watches everything from his place, still pretending to sleep. He feels overwhelmed seeing Veer's head in Meera's lap.

M: "Veer... Veer baby... Wake up, wake up, Baba," she coos softly, continuing to caress his back. Veer slowly opens his eyes and gives her a soft, sleepy smile, blinking his eyes.

Meera cooes softly and cups his chubby cheek. "Wake up, bachee... Let's have brekkie. Come on, get up... get up..." she gently says to Veer. He slowly sits up and leans against Meera. She picks him up and moves to the washroom to bathe him.

After 15 minutes, Veer is wrapped in his fluffy blue towel, looking adorable as ever. Meera takes him to the bed and sees Vihan sitting there with his phone in his hands. She shakes her head at him and places Veer on the bed.
