So, let's get started ..

Meera's POV:

From the day Sachin Uncle and Dipti Aunt had arrived at the mansion, the atmosphere here has felt... strange.

I can't figure out what's happening. It seems as though Maa, Papa, and Vihan ji are hiding something from me. But what could it be? I have no idea...

Should I try to find out? But then again, what if it's something personal to the Raichands? I shouldn't interfere in matters that don't concern me.

Never mind let it be.

Vihan's POV:

The day Sachin Uncle and Dipti Aunt, our relatives, came to the mansion and dared to humiliate Meera— that was the day I knew I had to take the long- pending step and put an end to this.

I feel like I've been too lenient, too passive in certain matters, and because of that, Meera had to endure their hurtful words. It's my fault she had to hear all that. But not anymore.

People who don't even hold a fraction of the grace or worth to speak about her, walked away after saying so much about my Meera... and I stayed silent? Never again.

From the moment Meera set foot in this Raichand mansion, she has been mine—Vihan's Meera. And now, the time has come to fulfill the promises and traditions, to make her mine in every sense, with all the honor and respect she deserves.

I've stayed away from her these past few days because I wanted to prepare a surprise for her. But not anymore... no more distance, no more delays.

Vihan: "Maa, Papa... are all the preparations done for today?"

Gayatri: "Yes, Vihan, everything is ready. But are you absolutely sure about this? Have you thought everything through?"

Vihan: "Yes, Maa. Everything is clear in my mind now. I just hope everything goes smoothly. That's the only way this will be perfect."

It was a calm evening, and the Raichands were gathered in the living room, enjoying their evening tea. The air was filled with warmth and laughter, primarily because little Veer was in one of his mischievous moods.

Hiding behind Meera, Veer was playing an adorable game of peek-a-boo with Vihan, who was thoroughly enjoying the playful exchange with his son.

The sound of Vihan and Veer's giggles echoed throughout the living room, bringing a smile to everyone's face. Meera, along with Gayatri and Abhimanyu, watched the duo with fondness, their hearts filled with joy at the sight of their little family moment.

Smiling, Meera decided to interrupt their fun, her voice soft yet teasing.

Meera: "Vihan ji... enough now. Veer, come on, baby, time's up. You take your coffee," she said, gesturing to Vihan, "and Veer baby... come to Mumma and have your milk. Come, come fast-fast!"

She whispered the last part in a playful tone, trying to hype up Veer, who giggled at her enthusiasm but made no immediate move to leave his father's side.

Veer wobbled toward Meera with tiny, determined crawls, his little arms outstretched. Meera quickly scooped him up, showering his head and chubby cheeks with a flurry of kisses. Veer's delighted giggles and squeals filled the room, making everyone smile.

Vihan watched them with a soft smile, his coffee momentarily forgotten. His mind wandered back to the day Meera first entered the Raichand mansion—a day etched in his heart. She had looked so serene, her innocence shining through her warm smile, draped in a simple yet elegant saree that made her look ethereal.
