Chapter 22

So, let's get started...

The whole family is together at home on a Sunday morning.

Gayatri and Abhimanyu woke up a bit late because they were feeling too lazy to start their day. Meanwhile, Meera and Vihan were hoping to sleep a bit longer. But Veer was up quite early and was softly poking Meera's face to wake her up. Meera opened one eye to see what was disturbing her and saw Veer's happy face and his hand raised to poke her again.

Meera quickly wrapped her arms around Veer and snuggled closer to Vihan, but Veer started laughing loudly in her arms. She tickled him back, and his giggles turned into full- blown laughter. Meera joined in, chuckling as well. Hearing their laughter, Vihan woke up with a soft smile. He sneaked his arm around Meera and started playing with Veer's fingers. Veer shrieked, and Meera squealed in surprise, earning a loud laugh from Vihan.

Vihan hovers over Meera and Veer, tickling both of them, and their loud laughter echoes in the silent room. All three—Vihan, Meera, and Veer—have smiles on their faces.

Veer snuggles closer to Meera to enjoy the warmth radiating from her and Vihan's embrace. He looks towards Vihan, grabs his T-shirt with small chubby hands, and presses a sloppy kiss on his face before quickly hiding in Meera's arms.

Meera chuckles, watching Veer's mischievous antics. She sees Vihan bending his body closer to Veer with a playful grin, gently wrapping his arm around Veer who squeals in delight. Vihan plants multiple kisses on Veer's face and head, purposely rubbing his beard on Veer's neck. Veer giggles loudly, pushing his face into Meera's bosom and chanting "Dadaa..." Vihan laughs, seeing Veer hiding from him, and wraps his arms around Meera and Veer, snuggling even closer to Veer.

After a while, all the Raichands are sitting in the dining room for breakfast. Everyone has a smile on their face as they watch Vihan and Veer playing with each other. During breakfast, sometimes Vihan tickles Veer, earning loud shrieks and giggles, and other times Veer tries to tickle Vihan with his small hands, earning a playful laugh from Vihan.

Sometimes Veer even tries to tickle Meera around her waist, earning soft kisses and giggles from Meera.

After their masti-filled breakfast, they all sit in the living room having light discussions when a family enters. Abhimanyu and Gayatri warmly welcome them with delight.

Gayatri and Abhimanyu: "Welcome, Mr. and Mrs. Singhania, and welcome to you too, Beta."

Vihan and Meera look towards them with a small, confused smile.

Gayatri and Abhimanyu welcome them into the living room and introduce Vihan and Meera.

Gayatri: "Vihan, Meera, these are our very old clients and friends..." (She introduces them, pointing) "This is Mr. and Mrs. Singhania, and this is their son and daughter-in-law, and their lovely son Ekansh."

Vihan and Meera smile towards them and warmly welcome them again.

Gayatri: "Mr. and Mrs. Singhania, this is my son Vihan, and this is Meera..." (She hesitates, looking towards Meera and Vihan for guidance on how to introduce her further. Vihan smiles with a nod, and Gayatri cheerfully continues.) "This is Meera, my daughter-in-law, and this is my grandson Veer."

Meera looks at Gayatri in shock but quickly covers her expression.

The Singhanias praise Vihan, Meera, and Veer, and their daughter-in-law also praises the couple and their son. 

Singhania Bahu (SB): "Meera... You are very beautiful..." Meera smiles and shyly replies, "Thank you."

All of them sit in the living room, and sensing the presence of another child, Veer practically clings to Meera, his eyes fixed on the child who has entered their home.
