So, let's get started..
The echoes of the bitter encounter lingered in the Raichand mansion long after Sachin and Dipti had departed. Meera stood there, her heart heavy with the weight of their words, yet a steely resolve etched in her eyes. Gayatri, seeing Meera in distress, enveloped her in a comforting embrace.
G: "Meera sweetie, don't let their words affect you. They don't know the depth of your resilience, the strength of your character, and the love and affection you have for Veer and all of us."
Meera nodded, finding solace in Gayatri's words, but the wounds inflicted by Sachin and Dipti's cruel remarks ran deep.
Vihan, on the other hand, seethed with rage, his mind a whirlwind of emotions. He paced the corridors of his room, Veer held tightly to his chest, his tiny hands clutching onto his father's shirt.
Vihan's anger simmered, a tempest raging within him. He wanted to lash out, to confront Sachin and Dipti, to defend his family's honor. But Meera's touch, her gentle yet firm grasp on his arm, served as a grounding force, pulling him back from the precipice of his fury.
M: "Vihan ji, enough. How much longer will you stay angry? They've already heard so much from you and Maa... please calm down now. We don't need to respond to their words. Our truth and the strength of our relationship are far stronger than their words." Her words, spoken with such calm conviction, pierced through the haze of his anger.
Vihan halted his restless pacing, his gaze softening as he looked into Meera's eyes.
V: "You are very naive, Meera... but I am not. If anyone even dares to look at my family the wrong way, I will burn them to ashes. You can't imagine how I endured the words those vile people said today..."
Meera softly grabs his forearm and pulls vihan toward bed to sit. Veer was patiently listening to them. His grip tight on vihan's shirt and face void of any emotions. He was looking an exact copy of ruthless Vihan Raichand, about whom the whole world talks.
He held her gaze, but allows her to pull himself towards bed and sits on the foot of bed with our tiny hulk in his arms.
Meera chuckled as she looked at Veer's adorable face, bending down to plant a soft peck on his chubby cheeks. As if reassured by her warmth, Veer's expression softened. He looked at her with a calm stance and mumbled softly, "Mumma." But moments later, his lower lip wobbled, and his innocent teary eyes turned to his father.
Veer cupped Vihan's face with his tiny hands, a gesture so tender it left Vihan momentarily stunned. Blinking in surprise, Vihan felt his heart swell with overwhelming love. His little boy, in his own small way, was trying to offer him comfort and solace. "Yes, baby... Dadda is okay, my love... Shhh," Vihan murmured softly, his voice full of reassurance.
He gently caressed Veer's back, leaning in to press a soft kiss on his cheek, his affection soothing Veer's little worries.
To pacify Veer, Vihan mustered a smile and playfully said, "Oh baby... look, Mumma has put lipstick on your cheeks! Ask your Mumma, Veer, how could she kiss you like that? Hmph, now my handsome boy has a lip mark on his cheek!"
He huffed dramatically, glancing at Meera with mock annoyance. Meera, unable to hold back her laughter, giggles at his antics. Their playful pretense of happiness and normalcy worked like magic—Veer let out an adorable giggle, his earlier sadness fading. Stretching his little arms toward Meera, he silently asked to be picked up.
With a tender smile, Meera scooped him into her arms and, with an exaggerated aww expression, planted a loud, smacking kiss on his other cheek. Deliberately, she left another bright lip mark on his chubby face.
