Let's get started...

The golden rays of the setting sun filtered through the sheer curtains, casting a warm, golden glow over the cozy living room. The room was tastefully decorated, with soft, plush furniture and family photos scattered across the walls. In the middle of this warm, inviting space, Meera sat comfortably on the sofa, her hand gently resting on her pregnant belly. The day had been long, but the sight before her made everything worthwhile.

Little Veer, now a lively toddler with an infectious energy, was nestled beside her. His small head rested against bosom, and his bright eyes were animated as he chattered incessantly about his day.

"Mamma, big butterfwwy! Big, big!" Veer exclaimed, stretching his tiny arms as wide as they could go. His face lit up with a mixture of excitement and pride as he recounted the day's adventure.

Meera chuckled, her heart swelling with a mixture of love and amusement. "Really, Veer? That sounds amazing," she said, her voice soft and filled with genuine interest. She reached out and tucked a loose strand of hair behind his ear, savoring the warmth of these simple, yet precious moments with her son.

Veer's enthusiasm was contagious. He gently patted Meera's growing belly, as if trying to share his excitement with the baby inside. "And soon, I'll show the baby the butterfwwies too, Mama. I'll teach her everything!"

Meera's smile widened as she imagined the days ahead, filled with the joyful noise of not one, but two children. "I'm sure you'll be the best big brother, Veer," she said softly, her eyes misting over with emotion. "The baby is so lucky to have you."

The sound of the front door creaking open interrupted their tender moment. Vihan stepped inside, loosening his tie as he entered. He paused in the doorway, taking in the sight before him: Meera, glowing with the radiance of pregnancy, and Veer, animatedly sharing his stories. It was a scene that filled Vihan with a deep, overwhelming sense of happiness—one that he had never quite expected but was endlessly grateful for.

"Papa!" Veer shouted, his little legs wriggling with excitement as he wriggled out of Meera's embrace and ran towards Vihan with all the energy he could muster.

Vihan laughed heartily, his eyes lighting up as he scooped Veer up into his arms. "Whoa, easy there, champ!" he said, spinning Veer around playfully. "You're going to make me dizzy!"

Veer giggled uncontrollably, his arms flailing with delight. "I was just telling Mamma about the big butterfwwy I saw today! And about how I'm going to teach the baby everything when she is here!"

Vihan's eyes softened as he glanced over at Meera, who was watching the two of them with a smile that seemed to light up the entire room. "Is that so?" he said, setting Veer back down on the floor. "Well, I'm sure the baby is going to learn a lot from their amazing big brother."

Veer puffed out his chest proudly, clearly pleased with the praise from both his parents. "Yep! I'm going to be the best big brother ever!"

Vihan walked over to Meera, gently placing his hand over hers on her belly. He looked at her, his eyes filled with the kind of love that only deepened with time. "And how are my two favorite people?" he asked, his voice soft with affection.

Meera leaned into him, her free hand resting on his chest. "We're doing just fine, thanks to Veer's constant updates," she teased lightly. "He's been keeping us both entertained all afternoon."

Vihan grinned, glancing down at his son, who was now busy arranging his toy cars in a neat line on the floor. "He certainly has a lot to say, doesn't he?"

Meera laughed softly, her eyes twinkling with affection. "He does. And I wouldn't have it any other way."

They stood together for a moment, simply enjoying the warmth of each other's presence. Vihan could feel the gentle movement of the baby beneath his hand, a tender reminder of the new life they were eagerly awaiting. "I still can't believe we're going to have another little one," he said, his voice tinged with wonder.
