July 26th:

-Lisa's pov-

I got up early, walked on the beach, and did my usual stretching routine. I did my skincare and put on SPF.

I went downstairs to the kitchen and made myself two Cappuccinos. I put on You Make My Dreams by Daryl Hall and John Oates, which I religiously listened to every morning. After having coffee, I felt super energized.

I used a Juicer to make green smoothies for everyone. Some juice definitely wouldn't harm them after drowning multiple Bamboos yesterday. I started preparing breakfast for the group. I cut up fruits and veggies, put granola and oat milk on the table, and fried some eggs.

Dante, who was already awake, woke the others, telling them breakfast was ready. I could hear Max groan his typical „Fuuuuck!" which meant he was awake now, too.

Everybody came down and sat down at the table. I handed Billie a bowl of porridge I made since that's the only vegan and gluten-free food at breakfast except for the fruits.

„Wifey material," Zoe said, sitting at the breakfast table and snapping pictures.

„Agreed! Thank you so much, Lisa. I don't even remember telling you I'm gluten-free," Billie said.

Everybody was in a good mood and ready to start the day. We quickly put all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher, changed, and headed to the beach, where our instructors, Abdel and Amelia, were already waiting for us.

They separated us into two groups since Max, Dante, and I already had a little surf experience, and the others were still completely new. Amelia looked at Billie a little too long, making it evident she knew who she was. She didn't say anything about it, though.

The waves weren't rough that morning, so it was perfect for us. Abdel, our instructor,  gave us some tips that helped me improve my technique. We surfed for three hours, taking little breaks in between since surfing is exhausting and enduring.

The other group had already finished up a bit earlier and, for about half an hour, watched us from the beach. We all got a Virgin Mojito and enjoyed it in the shadow. Everybody was exhausted, and we mostly sat silently on our phones. I watched Billie excessively answer messages on her phone and wondered who she was texting. She held her phone up a few times to Zoe, and they laughed at whatever was on the screen.

We returned to the house, showered, and played a few rounds of Frisbee and volleyball. I sucked at both. :/

Max then went to get his football. He has been playing soccer since he was a little child and still plays in a hobby club. But instead of kicking the ball around, he just said, „Attention, everyone! The time has come," while holding a six-pack of Cider in one hand and the football in the other.

„Hell yeah!" I shouted and jumped up from the lounge area because I already knew what was going down." I'm in team Max."

The Americans looked at us in utter confusion. I started explaining that we were about to play a game called Beerball. It's the most extreme but also the funniest drinking game.

„Two teams are playing against each other. Everybody has one can of cider in front of them and has to empty it as fast as possible. You use the ball to shoot at a bottle in the middle of the field, and only if that bottle tips over can you start chucking on your Cider. In the meantime, one person from the other team has to sprint there, put the bottle back up, and then rush back to their part of the field. The other team must stop drinking once they are back at their line. If any cider goes to waste, a cider overflows, or if somebody cheats in any way, you get an extra one that must also be emptied," Max explained.
