August 15th:

-Billie's pov-

I woke up to the sunlight on my face, gathering my thoughts and recalling what happened yesterday. Quietly, I got up from bed and opened the balcony door. As I stepped outside, I was immediately captivated by the breathtaking view.

It was stunning, with hills stretching far. The landscape was vibrant; everything was bright green and looked so fertile. Wtf is this place?

Although I had noticed Lisa's parents' house was very nice, I had yet to realize the area's true affluence. I got curious and started googling to learn about the country and the specific region I was in.

Yesterday, everything happened so fast. I just got in the car with them and arrived three hours later, wondering where I was. I didn't care, though, because Lisa was with me, and I felt safe around her.

The growling of my empty stomach reminded me that I hadn't eaten dinner the night before, so I decided to check if she was awake so we could eat something together. Carefully, I re-entered Lisa's bedroom, tip-toed towards the bed where she still slumbered, and sat beside her.

I thought about waking her up in a special way, if you know what I mean, but I didn't want to rush anything since we only made up yesterday.

I sat there for about half an hour, admiring her messy hair and how cute she looked. Lost in my thoughts, I didn't realize she had awoken until I heard her gentle voice.

"Oh, hello there, you creep," she teased, meeting my gaze. "How long have you been sitting here?"

"About 5 minutes or so?" I said, although I knew it was way longer than that. "The view from your balcony is so fucking pretty."

"It is! I'll show you around the house and the garden later."

„That sounds great. Eh, not to be rude, but can we go get breakfast first, like at a drive-in or something? I'm starving," I said while my stomach made sounds again.

„This is not L.A., and we can't just get breakfast like that. But I'll make something for you. What are you craving?" she asked me.

„These pancakes that you made in Portugal were so yummy," I said, my mouth watering as I thought about them.

„Okay, let's head downstairs then. I'll make them for you," she said, and I pecked her on the lips.

We headed downstairs, where she first turned up You Make My Dreams again and then started preparing the batter. I almost forgot how obsessed she was with that song.

I hugged her waist from behind while the pancakes were frying. She made herself a coffee using a portafilter machine, emphasizing how she couldn't function without her morning coffee.

She knew I hated coffee, so she made me hot chocolate using oat milk and raw cocoa powder. It was a small gesture, but it made me feel appreciated. We then went outside to eat on the terrace.

I devoured the whole plate because I was starving. The pancakes were just as yummy as I remembered them. After breakfast, we sat there for another hour, discussing the Max situation and then our plans for the next few days.

I decided to stay four days until the 17th before returning home and asking if that was all right with her. I didn't want to be intrusive, but I still wanted to spend time with her.

I was eager to explore everything, so we ventured into her garden; it was huge. They even grew their own veggies and fruits. She let me try some of the ripe strawberries. They tasted so differently here, and they were super sweet. I nearly lost my mind when we went through a little gate and saw a pack of sheep looking at me. "You have sheep?"
