Travis's Pov

This is it; I'm finally asking Taylor to marry me. People may call me crazy since we've only been together for about eight months, but I've known this girl was going to be my forever since the first time we said I love you. We have also already had many conversations on how neither of us want to wait for what the social slandered of dating time is before getting married, Taylor especially was very adamant on this seeing as she waited seven years for a ring only to be disappointed. When we first started dating, she made sure I was aware that she was looking to get married and start a family within the next two to three years if that wasn't something I was ready for, which I definitely am. I asked for her parents blessing already during a family dinner we had while Taylor was on break to which they immediately gave, and I am not ashamed to admit there were tears shed during that interaction.

I've been planning this for a while now to ensure that it is absolutely perfect for Taylor. I want the night to be as magical as possible, so I plan on renting a place in this beautiful almost castle for us to stay in for a few nights. One of the nights I'm going to take her out to Lake Como after dinner where we can walk around for a while before I ask her. I already discussed it out with her security so we're only going to have one guy trailing pretty far behind us just to keep watch but besides that it should just be us. I've probably gone over the plan over a hundred times in my head trying to make it seem more real or less daunting, I've heard guys talk about how stressed out they got before they asked their wives, but I never fully understood until now, and holy crap is that fear real. Realistically I know she'll say yes, I mean she's told me she would when I do, but that doesn't make me feel any less like I'm about to shit my pants. I have also been having to try extremely hard to not let anything slip and not let her find anything out, do you know how hard it is to keep a secret from that woman? Because I'll tell you man it is no easy feat. She notices everything and I mean everything, I already had to lie to her about why I was talking with a jeweler, I had to tell her I was getting a custom piece done for a friend, so his wife didn't find out and ruin the surprise, and I had to spill the beans on how we're going on this little vacation which was supposed to remain a secret until we got there.

So here we are now pulling into the castle as I call it, Taylor is practically jumping in her seat as she took in the view. She sprinted out of the car once it stopped and ran up the stairs where she waited for me and our bags. I got up to the door chuckling at Taylor who was bouncing on her heals and opened the door for her. Taylor let out a gasp as she followed me inside scanning the interior of the building.

"Travis it's beautiful." She exclaimed still looking around. I watched her look around a little more, a dopy grin plastered on my face, before reaching my hand out for her to take.

"Come on I'll show you are room." Taylor immediately took my hand letting me lead her through the building and up to the second story where I pushed open the large doors that lead to the bedroom. Taylor's jaw dropped slightly before she made a run for the bed flopping down on the middle as she giggles.

Shaking my head I make my way over to the bed and crawl on top of Taylor pinning her under me. "Your cute." I kiss her softly as she lets out a content sigh before reconnecting our lips. Taylors hands trail up my chest gripping onto the fabric pulling me in closer as I cradle her head deepening the kiss. Before we could take anything further, we were interrupted by one Taylors security members clearing his throat before gesturing to our luggage. "You can just leave it by the door." He nodded placing our bags by the door as Taylor began trailing kisses down my neck clearly unbothered by the fact that someone else was in the room. "Thanks man." He gave a curt nod before exiting the room leaving me and Taylor alone.

"You really need to give those guys a raise." I hissed a little as Taylor bit into my neck.

"I already did after the car incident." She mumbled into my neck.
