Part 2 of Try?
Taylors' Pov
I sucked in a giant breath of air as soon as the stage lowered me down. It was getting harder every night between the exhaustion and slight nausea that seemed to follow me everywhere I wasn't sure if I would be able to finish out the rest of the nights without throwing up on stage at least once.
I took in on last deep breath before bolting to the quick-change spot where Leah, the girl who usually helped with my quick changes was waiting for me. I spun around letting her unclip my mic pack from my dress which she handed to me before unzipping my folklore dress and grabbing the top and skirt for the 1989 set. I slid the top on letting Leah put my mic pack in place while I shimmied into my shirt. It was beginning to become a bit of squeeze due to the sudden weight gain in my stomach. I managed to get a few sips of water before I had to bult back to the lift entrance so I could wait for my que.
Luckily, I had a few extra seconds to breathe and pray that no one noticed the slight swell of my abdomen. Those who knew about my pregnancy swore there wasn't much of a difference, but to me it was sticking out like a sore thumb. It was especially obvious to me when wearing outfits like the one I was in currently when basically my entire midriff was exposed, the Torched Poets two piece was even worse.
I managed to get through 1989, though I did nearly throw up during Shake it off and I'm praying that no one noticed my slight gag after I hit one of the high notes. But knowing my fans they probably did, and the rumors are going to be all over by tomorrow morning.
I fought the urge not to giggle during but Daddy I Love Him but I mean technically I wasn't lying I am having someone's baby, just not the person this song was about, thank God.
Kam gave me a sympathetic smile as I slid the dress of to reveal the sparkly white two piece I had underneath, my act of want to preform having some truth behind it.
All of my back up dancers had been incredible since I told them the news. On any other occasion I wouldn't want this many people knowing of my pregnancy so early on but due to the circumstances it was important for them to be aware so we could make the necessary adjustments to the show to make it a bit easier for me.
The girls surrounded me covering me with the feathered fans. Amanda helped me put on my dress while Nataile held up my water for me to drink from.
"You doing ok?" Amanda asked smoothing down my dress in the back.
"I think so, I might need a throw up bag after the dive though." I tried to joke but no one laughed.
I could tell the girls were trying to give me as much time to rest as possible, but you could only draw a quick change out so long. I gave them a nod and made my way over to my guitar stand picking it up slinging the strap over my shoulder.
"Welcome to the acoustic set!"
I got through the surprise songs absolutely dreading the dive. We had practiced a way for me to land, so I wasn't landing on stomach put it wasn't so helpful when you are quite literally holding back you lunch.
As soon as I was off the mat, I snatched the bag one of the crews' hands spilling the contents of my stomach inside. Some took that bag from me, and I clutched my stomach regretfully as I made my way to the quick change unclipping my dress as I walked.
"You think you can make it through?" Leah asked, the Midnights bodysuit in her hands.
I nodded grabbing my water off the shelf taking a few slow sips. The quick change wasn't as quick as it should have been, but I managed to get to the stairs on time.
