3RD POVElias was waiting for others to come outside to get in the car. Elias finally wanted to go into town, so right now, he's going with. This time, everyone is coming. Usually, some people stay home, but this time, everyone decides to tag along.
"You're going to love it in town! Especially since you've been stuck here for a couple of months." Cole exclaimed, shaking Elias violently. "Cole, you're making me dizzy!" Elias cried, and Cole stopped, apologizing in the process. Currently, the boys were all sitting in a van. It was an 8-seater. Taylor will be the driver, and Chase will be the passenger. In the middle are Addison, Paxton, and Jayden. The very back is Liam, Elias, And Cole.
"What is taking them SOOO long," Liam whined, kicking the seat of Addison. "Liam, stop kicking my seat. They'll be outside soon. They might be doing something." The man expressed. Elias peeped at Addison and Paxton, holding hands. Paxton was currently on his phone, texting someone. "Sorryyy, they're taking forever. I'm excited to take Elias into town."
"Why is Paxton allowed to have a phone?" Elias wondered, not upset. He was just confused. The boys aren't allowed to have a phone. Only laptops. "Well, since you've read our files, you'd know I've been discharged from this place for a while. I got a phone not even a year back because I hadn't wanted one for a while. I'm not on it a lot." Paxton explained, still typing on his phone.
It would explain why Elias hasn't seen him on the phone. "Well, why doesn't anyone else but Liam, Cole, and I have a phone?" Elias budged, still wanting more answers. Addison chuckled and turned around to face Elias. "We do; we just don't get on it much. See?" Addison pulled out a phone.
"Trust me, Elias. We're jealous as much as you are." Cole groaned, kicking Jayden's seat. "Cole!" Jayden snickered, looking out the window in thought. "Sorryyy," Cole mumbled. Just as Elias was about to question something else, he saw Chase and Taylor exit the house. Taylor locked it and saw Chase putting on a shirt.
"Sorry for the wait, boys," Chase smirked. He got slapped on the arm by Addison. "Don't take forever like that again." Jayden barked, and all Chase did was laugh. "What were you all doing?" Elias asked, wondering what took forever. Chase turned around and smirked. He looked at Elias with evil eyes. "You don't want to know." The others snickled, and Elias blushed.
And with that, Elias didn't question any more of the ride.

When the boys got into town, Taylor told them the rules. Mainly for Elias since the others knew them by heart. "You must always stay with two or more people and be back here in 2 hours. What's the plan?" Taylor questioned. The boys were quiet, and Taylor smiled lightly. "We're here for groceries and anything you all need. So, I guess we can all go in together."
And with that, the boys agreed.
Elias was walking beside Liam, who was staring at the brunette. "Um, Liam. You're starting to stare again." Jayden mentioned. Liam blushed and apologized. "It's ok, Jayden. Let him stare all he wants." Elias smirked. Jayden laughed at that and didn't say anything more. Liam walked towards the hair dye section, Elias and Jayden following. He's wanted to dye his hair since it has grown out. "I think this would look amazing on you." Elias grabbed the Royal Blue hair dye box, and Liam smiled at him. "Do you really think it'll look good?" Liam asked, excitement laced in his voice. "Of course, honey. Especially with those curls of yours." Elias accidentally let the 'honey' slip and blushed at the comment. Liam also blushed, and Jayden then stared at the boy, being a hypocrite in action.
"Didn't I just hear you tell Liam that he's staring? You're a hypocrite." Paxton walked up behind him and slithered his arm around Jayden's waist. He smiled and leaned into the touch. All of a sudden, a woman's voice appeared behind the boys. "You gays are disgusting. Leave the PDA at home." A woman in her mid-40s said disgustedly, crossing her arms.
Elias grew angry and gave Liam the box of dye. "Elias, wait..." Liam called out, but Elias ignored him. He walked towards the woman Jayden was talking to and barged in. "Who are you to tell us to leave the PDA at home? You're a pathetic person," Elias looked at her hands, and smirked. "And you're so sad because you're old and not married. You're lonely. Stop picking on other people's happiness from your mistakes. Be a better person." Elias finished, smirking with satisfaction when he saw the look on the woman's face.
"Why, you little son of a"
"Is there something wrong?" Taylor and the others came with a basket of groceries and necessities. "Yes. This man here just told me off. Are you the manager?" The woman asked, trying to play off the victim. "Whatever you want me to be." Taylor replied, and Elias knew he was annoyed. The others snickered that the lady thought he was the manager. Taylor and the Woman talked for a split second before she left, and Taylor then faced me.
"I forgot to tell you that this is a small town. A lot of homophobic people live here, so we keep the PDA to a minimum. Right, Jayden and Paxton?" Taylor gazed at the two, and they nodded. They frowned. Not because of Taylor but because they can't even show their love in public. "Right. Let's get checked out and head home." Taylor hummed.
The way home was quiet, and Elias hated it. One second, it was quiet, and then the next, Jayden started busting out laughing. Everyone looked at him like he was crazy, but he didn't care. He just laughed atop his lungs, and Elias was admired. His laugh was sexy. "Why are you laughing? Are you nuts?" Chase asked, and Jayden just laughed even harder. "You- You all should've heard what Elias said to that woman. It was hilarious." The brunette laughed, and Elias, Liam, and Paxton also started laughing.
"What! I want to laugh too!" Cole whined. Paxton's laughter died down and explained what Elias said, and then the whole car started laughing. Even Taylor chuckled. "She got so offended and flabbergasted. She couldn't even form words." Liam laughed, holding his stomach.
"That's our boy." Taylor smiled, and Elias blushed. He couldn't believe the words that came out of Taylor.
And he loved every word.
