It was the day after the events with Rey's brother and Acnologia and Magnolia itself was being rebuilt as part of the town was destroyed by Acnologia. Rey was sitting in the guild looking over at Wendy and Romeo talk. He sighed and laid his head down against the counter top. "Ugggh. I'll never be able to win her over. I'm such a loser." Rey said to himself staring blankly at the wooden counter. He then looked back up and looked around the guild and smiled a little seeing all his family argue, chat, and just have fun. Of course his favorite person and the one he admired was Natsu, as he is the one who brought him here along with Ruben and Lucy. He of course fell for the blue haired dragonslayer who he was staring at once again and sighed seeing her talking to Romeo. "Oi Oi! Why don't you get the courage and just tell her?" Ruben asked sliding into the seat next to him and drinking juice. Rey glanced up at the slightly older dragonslayer then laid his head back down. "Can you just leave me alone? I don't really wanna talk about this." He replied trying to get the older boy to leave. "Hey man I'm just trying to help. I say try to win her heart before Romeo can. I think you have a chance. I can see it." Ruben explained and looked into his cup wondering where the rest of his juice went. "Where's my juice?" Rey facepalmed and shook his head wondering how this idiot can get any stupider. After Ruben left to go start a fight with Natsu and Gray, Rey began thinking about what he had said about winning over the young dragonslayer's heart. "Right. I'll win her over." Rey said to himself determination on his face as he walked towards the girl he loved, Wendy Marvell.
