Chapter 2

The two dragonslayers continued their journey through the tunnels while being watched at the same time. "Speedo! Come here!" The leader yelled still staring into the lacrima. A man with black spiky hair came running up and kneeled down. "Yes sir?" The man named Speedo said. "I want you and your unit to intercept these two dragonslayers." He said to Speedo as he smirked with an evil sparkle in his eyes. "Yes master." Speedo said as he stood back up and walked out the door. He walked up to his unit which consisted of only 3 other people. "Listen up! The master wants us to intercept the two dragonslayers and teach them a lesson about trying to stop us! Now let's move out!" Speedo ordered his unit and they all head into the tunnels straight for the two boys. Rey and Ruben stopped walking quickly as they could hear many footsteps heading towards them. "Get ready for anything Rey. Who knows what these bandits can do." Ruben told Rey as they both got into a fighting position. Rey was punched back by two of the bandits while Ruben was able to block both attackers. "Rey! You gotta stay focused!" Ruben yelled as he kicked one of them to the side and began trying to punch Speedo missing every attempt. "Wings of the ice dragon!" Rey yelled as he froze both of his attackers. Rey jumped at both of the frozen bandits with his fists lit with fire. He punched one of them knocking him into the wall while the other had broken out of the ice. Rey was kicked in the back and into the ground however he pressed against the ground kicking his attacker in the jaw. "Haha take that!" Rey yelled excitedly as he smirked punching him once again knocking him unconscious. Rey looked at both of his opponents noticing he had knocked both unconscious. "Whoa...that was quicker than I thought." Rey said to himself amazed with his own power. "That's great but could you give me a little help?!" Ruben yelled as he continued blocking attacks from his opponents. "Right!" Rey said as he ran over attacking the other bandit letting Ruben focus his attention on Speedo. "You won't be able to catch me. I'm the fastest man alive!" Speedo said as he smirked evilly and disappeared. Ruben stayed there listening for his footsteps. As soon as he picked up the sound he was too late to attack as he was punched in the back and then slammed into the ground. Ruben stood back up quickly but was knocked back down as he was punched in the face and slammed into the wall. Speedo was pressing his arm into Ruben's throat slowly choking him to death. "This is the end for you dragonslayer." Speedo said as he continued choking him while smiling evilly. Rey had just then grabbed his opponent by the arm and slung him towards Speedo. Speedo was slammed to the ground as his partner slammed against him freeing Ruben from his grasp. Ruben gasp for air then stood back up. "You've got a lot of nerve challenging a dragonslayer. It's time for you to learn your lesson!" Ruben yelled anger in his voice. "Fire dragon roar!" Ruben yelled as a blast of fire came from his mouth heading towards the two bandits. It exploded as it hit both of them however there was only one bandit when the smoke cleared. "Looks like that other one got away." Rey said looking around making sure that he wasn't around anywhere. "Yea and it seems like he was the leader. Plus he's the fastest." Ruben said as he could hear the mans footsteps slowly disappearing ahead. "Come on let's follow him. He'll lead us to where the others are." Rey nodded as Ruben and him took off following behind Speedo. They arrived at a door which they guessed Speedo had gone through and where their leader was. "This is it. Are you ready Rey?" Ruben asked looking at Rey. "Yep! I'm always ready!" Rey said smiling. "Alright well your gonna handle the bandits and I'll head for the leader. Got it?" Ruben explained as they prepared to go through the door. "Got it. Now let's go!" Rey yelled as they both kicked down the door sending it flying into a few bandits that were standing around. "Alright. Looks like about fifteen bandits." Ruben said looking around. "Can you take them all?" He asked. "Of course. It'll be a piece of cake." Rey said with a smirk on his face as he charged at the bandits head on. Ruben smiled and followed behind. Rey began fighting the bandits as Ruben had managed to get pasted them all and to the leader's door. Ruben walked into the room and was amazed at how huge it was and noticed that on the other side of the room was the bandit from before and someone else who he guessed was the leader. "Welcome dragonslayer!" The man yelled with a smile as he stood up from his chair. "As you can tell this is my headquarters however it will soon become your grave. Speedo. Take care of him." He ordered as Speedo nodded and disappeared. He then reappeared sending a kick at Ruben's back however he managed to dodge and counter with a punch to the face. "I've already gotten used to your speed. I've learned a lot in our last fight." Ruben informed as he kicked him into the wall. Speedo stood back up and look straight at Ruben. "Well then this should be an interesting fight then." He said as he smirked both of them getting into a fighting stance.
