Chapter 6

Rey's POV

It was dark. That's all I could see right now. I walked around wondering where I was. Suddenly something began to form around me. I looked around as it formed into ruins of a town. I walked around the destroyed town curiously. I passed a strangely familiar looking building that was partially destroyed. Then I realized it was the shop I had first met natsu at and my eyes widened. "This destroyed town is Magnolia?!" I yelled and ran to an empty area where the fairy tail guild should be. "Who could've done this?!" I yelled once again this time my voice full of anger. I heard someone laugh behind me and I turned around. I saw that it was a boy around Ruben's age. My eyes widened when I noticed he was dragging someone behind him. The body was limp and there was blood dripping onto the street creating a puddle. He threw the body at me and I barely dodged but when it passed my eyes widened in shock. Flames began forming around me and my eyes narrowed angrily as tears formed at the edge of my eyes. "Ruben...YOU KILLED RUBEN!!!" I yelled with so much anger it could've caused an earthquake. He just smirked and it made me angrier as I wanted to wipe that smirk off his face. I ran at him quickly but before I could reach him something landed right behind him. My eyes widened in fear as I began backing away. Behind him was a dragon that was black and blue in color. It was Acnologia. The most powerful dragon that fairy tail had faced. "This is the one who taught me Dragonslayer Magic," the boy said as he still had that smirk on his face. Acnologia opened his mouth as he let out a roar and I saw a blue light coming my way. I closed my eyes prepared for death.

Normal POV

Rey opened his eyes quickly as sweat was going down his face and he was breathing heavily. He looked around at his surrounding noticing that he was still alive and was tied to what he thought was another person. He noticed blue hair and knew it was Wendy that he was tied to. He blushed a bit being tied to his crush but ignored it as he needed to find a way out. He then remembered the dream he had just had and began to wonder if it was going to come true. "Wendy? Wendy wake up, " Rey said nudging her a bit. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around. "Rey? Where are we?" She asked him as she was a little afraid of what is going to happen to them. "Don't worry. I think that we're in a cave but I'll get us out," Rey said to reassure her as he was determined to get them out. He grabbed the chain first and heated it up melting it quickly. He then burnt away the rope that kept the two together. "Wendy. Go to fairy tail and let them know what happened to us. I'll head out to find Ruben. I get the feeling he's in danger." Rey informed as she nodded and made her way to fairy tail. Rey ran out quickly to begin his search for Ruben. He knew the older dragonslayer was in danger because they were almost like brothers. Rey didn't know where to begin his search as he couldn't pick up any scent of his. "Well well well. Look what we have here," Rey heard someone from behind him say. He turned around quickly and saw the boy from his dream. Rey narrowed his eyes at the boy and lit a flame around his hand. "You!!" Rey said anger laced in his voice as he stared at the boy. "Oh? So you know who I am?" Drake asked as he smirked. "No I don't but I know that your a dragonslayer," Rey said keeping his eyes on the dragonslayer. Drake was a little surprised that he knew that but he decided to brush it off. "Where's Ruben?" Rey asked as he took a step toward Drake. "Who? Oh! You mean the pathetic little dragonslayer. He's unconscious at the bottom of a lake." He said as he smirked evilly looking at Rey. Rey's face showed complete anger as flames began forming around him quickly as the temperature dropped. "Flames of ice. Interesting magic combination," Drake said interested in Rey's magic type. The angry look that Rey had on his face was amusing to Drake. He smiled evilly and formed black flames around him. "Now. Bring it on brother! Show me the power of your dragonslayer Magic!" Drake yelled out as the Rey charged at Drake. As Rey closed in on him he decided to end it quickly and swung a punch at Rey's face quickly. What surprised him was when Rey easily dodged his attack and countered with a punch to the gut. Rey continued to send attacks at Drake that all made contact. Drake looked at Rey shocked but then smirked. "This is exactly the kind of fight I've been waiting for," he said preparing to begin another attack.
