Chapter 8

Hey guys! I apologize for the extremely long wait! I've been busy doing a bunch of things this summer break but I've been making a little time to get this chapter in. Well here it is! Enjoy!

"Ahhhh!!" Rey yelled loudly as he ran through the forest with Acnologia on his tail. "When I find Ruben I'm seriously going to kill him for not showing up!" Rey said to himself angrily as his eyes narrowed. Acnologia roared sending a large beam of dark magic exploding behind Rey sending him flying into the air. "Whaaaa..?! Ahh! I'm not good with heights! Ah! And I can't fly either!" Rey screamed out as he fell toward the ground, but is saved in the nick of time from hitting the ground. "Having fun without me I see. You're not nice for fighting without me." Ruben said with amusement in his voice as he dropped Rey onto the ground face first. "Oi! Where've you been you big doofus?!" Rey yelled angrily at his fellow dragonslayer who just shrugged and pointed to the dragon who was about to crush the both of them. "Oh....right." Rey said as he remembered they were still in the middle of a fight. The dragon sent his foot toward the dragonslayers kicking up dust as it hit the ground and the two dodged hiding behind a rock as the dust covered their escape. "Listen. There's a plan I think might work. It won't kill him but it'll send him to a different area." Ruben explained to Rey as they hid quietly behind the rock while Acnologia sent beams of dark magic into the city. "It's called relocation magic. It's lost magic but I've managed to learn it. Just give me some time and I can send him somewhere else." Ruben finished and Rey nodded both standing to their feet. "Got it. I'll give you time you send that bastard somewhere else." Rey said then ran off and jumping onto the large dragon's tail. Ruben closed his eyes and crosses his arms across his chest. "Lost magic of the ancients. Give me your strength. Give me your power. As I wish to relocate this enemy of ours." Ruben chanted as a magic red circle formed above and below him.

Rey continued up the dragons tail slashing away with his ice sword. He continued slashing but lost his balance as Acnologia tried to knock him off by flying high into the air. "Whoa! I'm not falling off!" Rey yelled as he stabbed his sword into the dragons back making the beast roar loudly. The young dragonslayer propelled himself off of his sword and into the air forming two balls of fire in both of his hands. "Give me your strength Natsu." He said as the flames grew bigger and brighter. "Crimson lotus exploding flame edge!" Rey yelled as he hit the dragon with the attack and then smashing into the creature as a fireball sending them both into the ground.

"Now! Relocate the beast of the dark! Acnologia!" Ruben yelled as a red beam of light shot toward the dragon getting a direct hit. The dragon stood but slowly disappeared to an unknown location. "Haha! That's one! Now where's that dragonslayer freak with the weird hair?!" Ruben yelled looking around for the one who threw him into the lake. Rey came over and sweat dropped seeing Ruben throw bushes and trees around looking for Drake. "I may be an idiot but I swear he's a bigger idiot than me sometimes." Rey said to himself walking back toward the partially destroyed magnolia.
