The Son of Acnologia

Chapter 7

Regular P.O.V.

Rey and Drake stood staring intently at each other excitement flashing in their eyes. Rey made the first move by running at Drake quickly moving his fist back as a flame formed in one hand and an ice sword in the other. Drake smirked as he covered his right arm in black flames and charges forward. "Bring it brother!!" Drake yelled as their attacks collided creating a small explosion kicking up dust and destroying part of the ground. Rey jumped out of the cloud of dust into the air while Drake followed behind. Rey moved his hand forward shooting out shards of ice toward Drake who dodged and blocked easily. "You'll have to do better than that!!" Drake yelled loudly as he formed a sword from his black flames slicing Rey in half. However he turned into ice and exploded into small ice crystals. Rey came up behind him and slammed an ice hammer into his head sending him rocketing towards the ground. Drake slammed into the ground making a crater in the ground. He stood up dusting himself off as if it didn't hurt him much however he could feel the pain in that hit he was given.

Rey P.O.V.

Darn my brother. I hate him. He attacked me and my friends! Especially Wendy! He attacked her and I can't forgive him for that. I'll make sure to end my brother here but I don't know how much longer I can go. I know for a fact he has more magic power than me. I'm gonna need help to defeat him. Ruben...where is he? I saw Drake jump out of the crater as I landed back onto the ground safely. Did that attack not hurt him?! "I have to say that attack was pretty clever. However I'm still standing," he said as he smirked, "now it's time for my own attack." He began forming black flames around himself as he jumped forward with incredible speed. He got faster?! How?! My thoughts were interrupted as he punched me in the face then the gut and I saw a small magic circle forming on my hand. What the? I can't move. Why can't I move?! I continued trying to break free from this paralysis. "My flames can paralyze anything," he said as he chuckled evilly, "you will no longer have control of yourself. This is were I kill you. You should have joined me brother." He formed a sword in his hands and moved it upwards. I closed my eyes waiting for death to come but it never did. I smelt a familiar scent in the air and knew exactly who arrived. I opened my eyes and looked up at the pink haired dragonslayer facing towards drake. "Oi oi! Don't be pickin' a fight with a member of fairy tail. Especially a dragonslayer," Natsu said as he punched his fist together forming a flame around his hands, "Bring it on!! I'm all fired up!" Natsu! I knew that pink haired idiot would come. Now time to break free from this spell.

Drake's P.O.V

Ahh. It seems the pink one has arrived. Natsu I believe. And yet I was so close to destroying my pathetic little brother. It seems I'll need to take drastic measures to get rid of these pests. I watched the two intently wanting nothing more than to see the two of them dead. Nows my time to call. I'll need to do this.

Regular P.O.V

Drake began to let out a loud roar into the air that sent vibrations through the ground. Rey had just finished burning off the magic circle and had fallen to the ground from the violent vibrations. "What the..?! What's with the roar you eh?!" Natsu yelled toward Drake who just ignored him and continued to roar. This made Natsu angry and he charged toward the dark dragonslayer but was sent flying by a giant black tail. "Natsu!" Rey yelled then turned and paled as he saw their new opponent. "W-what?" He said slowly backing away from the large figure. "Hahaha! That's right! Meet the dragon who taught me my magic," Drake yelled out, "Acnologia!! Hahaha!" Rey continued to back up but stopped and narrowed his eyes and took a step forward no matter how much fear was going through him. "I won't let you hurt anyone else! Even if it costs my life!" He yelled out at Drake. "Very good. Let's see how you do against him. Please deal with him Acnologia. I have some important business to attend to." Drake said as he disappeared in a puff of black smoke. Acnologia roared and stomped on the ground preparing to battle. "Alright! Let's go! I'm not gonna give up!" Rey said as a little excitement flashed through his eyes. This was the beginning of a battle that would decide the worlds fate.
