Chapter 4

"well enough of this let's go" "Where are we going" Niki asked " To the café Im craving something sweet"Niki put his arm around me and we started to walk to the café I was Sooo excited to get some pudding! Then suddenly I heard someone call us " NIKI , Y/N WAIT FOR ME " "oh great here we go again " Niki said. "Hey guys what are you up to?" "Were going to the café" Niki answered. I could see that Jake was staring at Niki's arm around my neck. "Are you two dating?" Jake asked. "OH NO NO" "No of course not Y/n and I are best friends" "oh I see" we all went together to walk to the café together and surprisingly Niki was actually making conversation with Jake and getting along it made me a bit happy to see that. A few minutes went by and we made it to the café the lady asked us what we wanted to order. Niki got a blueberry muffin, Jake got cheesecake and I got pudding of course! "Mmm THIS PUDDING IS SOOO GOOD!" "Calm down Y/n everyone is starting at us now" "Sorry Niki" I gave a little chuckle it was just so good. Jake then  slowly came closer to me and took a piece of my pudding! "YAH!! GIVE ME BACK THAT PUDDING" Jake laughed and ran outside of the café and I chased after him leaving Niki completely behind. I was still chasing him until I slipped on a rock and FALL ON TOP OF HIM our faces were so close to I could smell his perfume my heart started racing I could feel my cheeks getting hot we stared at each other for a few seconds "what are you two doing.." I hesitated and jumped up and saw Niki behind us. "I..t was a mistake Niki.." I replied Niki rushed to me "Oh Y/n your so clumsy sometimes" he grabbed my hands and checked if I got hurt anywhere " did you get hurt?" He asked "n..no I'm good" I answerd looking down at the floor then Niki gave his hand for Jake to get up "you good?" "Uh yeah haha" "You guys should apologize to the lady" Niki was right I felt a bit bad. We both nodded our heads and went inside "hey ma'am were terribly sorry for how we acted" I nodded as Jake spoke feeling so embarrassed. The lady then laughed?!? "No don't worry kids you guys are such a cute couple" "they are FRIENDS" Niki exclaimed "oh..." "Come on  guys were leaving" Niki grabbed my hand and stormed out of the café he looked really mad I didn't understand why he was mad.. "hey Niki you good man" Jake asked "yeah.. I should get going" Niki then hugged me and waved bye to Jake leaving us there not knowing what just happened
"Uh I should get going to" I said "yeah uh let me walk you home" Jake and I both went to walk to my house in silence after what just happened "oh were here thanks for walking me home" "oh no problem I'll see you tomorrow" Jake smiled at me and gave me a hug it made my heart flatter for a second I smiled back and went inside.

The next morning I went to the locker rooms and went for a quick bathroom break before class started today we had P.E I was so tired since I couldn't really sleep I went to the girls changing room and put my P.E uniform on and headed to my homeroom classroom where everyone was waiting for P.E to start I then took my seat next to Niki "hey Niki you ready for today's P.E lesson?" Niki nodded while staring at his phone I turned to Jake "hey Jake!" "Hey Y/n oh look Mr Lee is here" I turned around and we all greeted Mr Lee
"Alright class shall we go to the field" we all got up from our chairs and made our way to the field "ALRIGHT CLASS LISTEN UP, You guys will be split into two teams we will be playing doge ball!" Mr Lee shouted I looked at Jake and Niki but then Someone grabbed Jake and I into there team "YAH! JAKE AND Y/N YOUR ON OUR TEAM" "But what about Niki?" I asked "Don't worry about him" the girl said then some boy grabbed Niki onto their team Niki didn't look too thrilled about this. I could see that Niki was very angry. "Ok everyone do we all know how to play dogeball?" "YES MR LEE" We all answered  "GREAT YOU GUYS MAY START" Everyone started running like crazy and shouting at there teammates Jake was actually quite
good at dogeball I then started to observe him. "Y/N GET THE BALL" one of my teammates said I wasn't focusing at all I hesitated and threw the ball and then the ball hit Niki face flat. He full to the ground and his nose started bleeding. "NIKI ARE YOU OKAY?!?" I ran to Niki and helped him up Jake ran to and helped me. "YAH Y/N DONT YOU KNOW HOW TO THROW A BALL" Mr Lee shouted
"I..m so so sorry" "TAKE HIM TO THE SCHOOL NURSE NOW" "Y..yes Mr Lee" "do you need help?"Jake asked "It's okay I'm good.." I went to the nurses office with Niki and the nurse gave me something to help with his nose I gave it to Niki and he applied it on his nose the nurse left and told me to stay with him for a bit "Niki I'm really sorry I'm so stupid ugh" "no your not it was my fault for not ducking" "stop making it sound like I did nothing wrong" I replied "oh goodness you got some blood on your lips too" I grabbed the ointment Niki had in his hand and put some on his lips with my finger my heart started doing that thing again."is it done?" Niki asked "Y..yeah listen Niki I'm reall-" Niki pulled me in for a hug and my heart started to race like crazy like I was on a treadmill or something I felt so happy. "Niki? Y/n?"
